KAGRA site is in Kamioka, but the nearest large city is Toyama where you are likely to stay. To get to Toyama from Tokyo, take a bullet train (Hokuriku Shinkansen). JR East.

How to get to Kamioka

From Toyama to Kamioka, we recommend to rent a car. It is about 1 hour drive from Toyama station to Kamioka.
