• The deadline of the registration for the F2F is 7th Aug. Make sure you have registered.
• If you are planning to work in KAGRA especially in the PSL, you need to attend the commissioning meeting at 1 PM on the day before and on that day.

Recent Status

PSL

• Permission at 1 PM commissioning meeting is needed for an entry.

IMC

OMC, OMMT, OSTM

• OMC commissioning is on going.
  • The wedge of OMC1 is flipped.
  • Somiya-san simulated the TRANS signal during the cavity scan with the speed in the Kasuya-san's measurement, and it indicates the estimated finesse (400) might be a correct number.
  • Modification plan is fixed.
    • Fabrication of the new jig for the alignment
    • Fabrication of the jig for the mirror gluing.

    • OBS3 will be replaced with the curved mirror with ROC of 500 mm. -> It seems to take a long to purchase.

• Rough schedule chart will be made by Aso-san.
  • First start from the alignment check of the OMC cavity itself just after fabrication of the jigs. (End of Aug. ~ early in Sep.)
  • After the curved mirror for OBS3 will be delivered, assemble whole of the OMC and install it. (End of Sep.?)

• OSTM replacement

Niigata

• Double demodulation
  • First Koyama-kun will discuss with Michimura-san, and then start the experiment in Kamioka.
    • Michimura-san gave several documents about d-demod.
    • The discussion date has not been fixed yet.
• Scattering measurement
  • Tsugai-kun and Murakami-kun is working to improve the S/N ratio of the measurement, and they will have a poster at F2F meeting.
