 * Two possible methods
  * Common part: pull out the suspension from the chamber and put it on the assembly frame.
  * Mark's idea: Make smaller winch systems for TM hanging, which can be used with the BF sitting above the IM.
   * How to align the suspension chain with the sliding rails of the assembly frame is a challenge.
  * Shoda-san's idea: Unhook the rod connecting the BF and IM. Then remove the top part (down to BF) and put it temporarily in the chamber.
   * Is unhooking possible ?
   * Alignment of the top part with the payload part when connecting again may be a challenge.
   * IMRM adjustment may be difficult.

 * Conclusion: We should think about the ideas presented today and discuss it again in the next meeting to decide the next action.

Progress report

Schedule Chart

Type-A : (PDF,MPP)

Type-B: (PDF,MPP)

  • Type-A: On schedule for the cable replacement (2 days delay expected in the next week)
  • Type-B:
  • Type-Bp:

Type-A (Takahashi)

Past week report

[X-end]

  • Recovered from the blackout.
  • Lifted down the EQ stop to release the bottom stopper for BF.
  • Set the F2 stage on the frame lock and cabled between F1 and F2.
  • Suspended the filter chain from the F1, and checked the load for F1.
  • Set the F1 stage on the frame lock and extended the EQ stop.
  • Started the cabling between F0 and F1.
  • Set the top ring onto the frame lock.

Plan for coming weeks

  • X-end: Installation of the pre-isolaotor and reassembly of the BF damper.
  • Y-end: Connection to the cryo-payload.

Type B (Mark)

Past week report

  • Mark worked on SR2 planning.
  • Mark thought through what would be required to swap an optic (e.g., SRM) in situ (JGW-T1707436).
  • Hirata-san tried removing disks from IM flags (so we could reuse them in flag bases and make a complete set for SR2) but only got 1 of 4 out.
  • Hirata-san ordered more disks for IM flags.
  • Hirata-san asked for quotes on SF LBB blades.
  • Hirata-san got a reduced quote for the LBB damper rings.
  • Hirata-san received and cleaned suspension wires for the SR.
  • Fabian worked on the SR mass budget.
  • Fabian worked out the COM of the SR2 optic, and Mark used it to derive the proper prism positions.
  • Enzo and Kozu-kun worked on control filter design and installation.

Plan for week of 11/27

  • Fabian at commissioning workshop
  • Hirata-san at Kamioka Tue-Fri to work with Mirapro on SRM LBB installation.
  • All others (Mark, Enzo, Shoda-san, Kozu-kun) at Kamioka to start SR2 assembly.
    • Mark from Mon lunchtime.
    • Kozu-kun from Mon lunchtime through Wed.
    • Mirror gluing.
    • SR2 rack setup.

Plan for week of 12/4

  • All at Kamioka
    • IM assembly and pico test.
    • Assembly frame alignment and optical table centering.
    • OL setup.

Vacation Info

  • Mark 12/22-1/3
  • Enzo TBD, probably 12/22-1/3
  • Fabian 12/22-1/5
  • Hirata-san 12/21-22 (conference)

Type-Bp (Shoda)

Past week report

  • Recovered from the power outage
  • PRM tried to be released
    • The suspension hits to the EQ stop. We found that the inner frame was tilted.
    • We inserted the sims below the Traverser top plate.
    • The bellows legs of the tank were not perfectly tightened...??

Plan for coming weeks

  • PRM release trial again
  • Re-alignment of the main beam

OMMT & OSTM (Ohishi)

Watchdog system (Tanaka)

Past week report

  • I want to start ordering mass production version.-->*Waiting.

    • The execution of the budget was stopped by AEL.
    • -->Budget execution was allowed.(Meeting at Kamioka.)

  • Star of order related works.-->Completed(Coop Univ.Tokyo and anther corp.).

  • Operation test of the testing tool for mass production equipment.-->Completed.

  • I stay at Toyama on the 19th.And experiment in Kamioka from 20th to 22nd.-->20th I could't experiment by power outage.21th Completed the connection experiment with the digital system. 22nd The cutoff operation test does not go well.-->

    • DC power supply fault(?).
    • I can't see the driver output and sensor output.

Plan for coming weeks

  • Plan the operation test again at KAGRA.
  • Retest in Mitaka.
  • Start ordering mass production version.-->Start preparations.

Other site works

  • Commissioning Workshop: Nov. 27 to Dec. 1st

Safety

  • Incidents: Dropped a nut inside the PRM chamber.
  • Foreseen risks
    • Type-A: Crane work
    • Type-B: No heavy work expected
    • Type-Bp: Be careful with the PRM release.

Discussion

Brainstorming on how to exchange the payload part without completely disassembling the suspension chain

  • Type-B assembly drawings

  • Type-Bp drawings

  • Two possible methods
    • Common part: pull out the suspension from the chamber and put it on the assembly frame.
    • Mark's idea: Make smaller winch systems for TM hanging, which can be used with the BF sitting above the IM.
      • How to align the suspension chain with the sliding rails of the assembly frame is a challenge.
    • Shoda-san's idea: Unhook the rod connecting the BF and IM. Then remove the top part (down to BF) and put it temporarily in the chamber.
      • Is unhooking possible ?
      • Alignment of the top part with the payload part when connecting again may be a challenge.
      • IMRM adjustment may be difficult.
  • Conclusion: We should think about the ideas presented today and discuss it again in the next meeting to decide the next action.
