Outline of the meeting

The 19th F2F meeting will be held at Osaka City University. We plan to discuss the summary of phase-1 operation, steps for joining LIGO/Virgo's O3 run, and other urgent issues.

* The planned schedule is to start from 10:30 May 18 (Fri), and end by 17:00 May 20 (Sun).

* Registration page will open soon.

* Banquet will be held in the evening of May 18. Banquet fee is 3500 Yen (2500 Yen for student).

* deadline of the registration (with the Banquet): April 30 (Mon) 23:59 JST

* deadline of the registration (waitlist Banquet): May 6 (Sun) 23:59 JST

* We will collect 500 yen from all participants for snacks of coffee breaks at the registration desk.

* Contribution category: (a) report in subgroup session, (b) contribution: oral or poster, (c) contribution: only poster, (d) no presentation

* We will have "presentation award" for entried contributers.

* Please book a hotel by yourself, and as soon as possible, since Osaka is quite busy city. Recommended area is near the Tennoji station or along the Subway Midosuji Line.

There are several ways to come to the meeting venue (Tanaka Memorial hall/田中記念館 at the Sugimoto Campus of the Osaka City University).

1. From the main terminals:

• From Kansai International Airport (KIX/関西国際空港) : Take the JR Kansai-Airport Rapid Service, change at Sakai-shi (堺市) Station to a local train for Tennoji (天王寺) Station and get off at Sugimoto-cho (杉本町) Station.

• From Shin-Osaka (新大阪) Station : Take the subway Midosuji (御堂筋) Line and get off at Abiko (あびこ) Station.

• From Osaka International Airport (Itami/大阪国際空港(伊丹空港)) : Take an Airport Limousine Bus to Abenobashi (あべの橋) Station, then take a local train on the JR Hanwa (阪和) Line from JR Tennoji Station and get off at Sugimoto-cho Station.

2. From Tennoji Station (JR/Subway Midosuji line)

• Take a JR Hanwa-line train from Tennoji Station and get off at Sugimoto-cho Station. It takes 14-20 minutes and costs 180 JPY.

• note: At the Tennoji station, please take a local train. No rapid train stops at Sugimoto-cho Station. Usually, the track number 7 and 8 of Tennoji Station are for the Hanwa-line local trains.

3. From the Sugimoto-cho station (JR)

• The Sugimoto Campus of the Osaka City University is located just East of JR Sugimoto-cho Station. The meeting site is the "Tanaka Memorial Hall" (No. 8 building in the campus map available at the university official page). It is less than 10 minutes walk from the JR station East exit.

4. From Abiko Station (Subway Midosuji line)

Accommodation

Please book a hotel by yourself. It is recommended to book a hotel near the Tennoji station or along the Subway Midosuji Line.
