Installation note for Nord

OS:Ubuntu 10.04 64bit server edition (Installation is proceeded in text base.)

Selected software:

• OPENSSH
• Printer server
• Samba server
• Virtual Machine server

DNS server at porta

The configuration files are /etc/exports, /etc/hosts.allow and /etc/hosts.deny. Add nord as 192.168.11.4.

NFS client

• Install portmap;

   $sudo apt-get install portmap　nfs-common

• Make loacal directory: /cvs/cds/kami

   mkdir /cvs
   cd /cvs
   mkdir cds
   cd cds
   mkdir kami

• Add

   porta:/cvs/cds/kami     /cvs/cds/kami           nfs     defaults        0 0

  on /etc/fstab
• reboot to make it sure that the fstab works

Install tcsh

sudo apt-get install tcsh

• Change default shell in

  • System->Administration->Users and Groups->Advanced Setting button->Advanced tab

  to "/usr/bin/tcsh"

libXm.so.3

Install libmotif-dev by Synaptic

libXpm.so.4等のの32ビット版ライブラリをubuntuに入れる方法

getlibsをインストール
