<> = KAGRA collaboration MOU = * This MOU has started February 2019. Action from each institute is required. * Note that this is different from the O3 Commitment Form. || ||Back to the KSC top page / wiki top page || || ||<99% style="border:none;text-align:right;">This page is maintained by KAGRA Scientific Congress (KSC) || ---- <> == Guidelines == * EO decided to collect "KAGRA collaboration MoU" with each group of the collaboration, in order to confirm the relationship officially between a group and KAGRA, and to proceed to the next responsible contributions including observation shift and future development of the projects. This procedure is supposed to be once. [On April 18, EO decided to change the document name to "memorandum of understanding (MoU)", rather than "Agreement", in order to clarify that the document does not intend to make a restriction with penalties. ] * The sample format (now version 3) is now updated at JGWdoc-M1909818. * The draft includes the statement (in section 4-2); "KAGRA will support the local expenses of the members of Group A within limits of the the available budget under the ICRR Inter-University Research program." If your group does not submit this form, then your group members may miss to receive this support. * In order to plan our O3 observation shift at the KAGRA site, we also collect the list of shift candidates from the group representatives. /* Please note that our Principal Investigator (Kajita-san) says that participating the observational shift is a necessary step to be involved in the next author-list of O3. */ * We suppose all collaborators understand the importance for participating the observation shift. * The new version also have changed the expression of the "Effective Period" (section 6): "This MoU will remain effective for the duration of the project and can be automatically extended or modified as long as Group A and KAGRA agree." * We ask all group representatives to follow the procedures: * Check out the "MoU" draft (attached in this mail) at JGWdoc-M1909818. * Also prepare the list of the shift candidates (attached in this mail) in Excel file format. * Visit the registration page https://gwcenter.icrr.u-tokyo.ac.jp/collaboration-agreement and tell us who will make a signature, together with the list of shift candidates. * EO will prepare the "MoU draft" for each group, and will have a sign-up process at the face-to-face meeting in April (at ICRR Kashiwa, April 19-21) or at the face-to-face meeting in August (at Toyama U, maybe August 22-24), by exchanging digital signatures, or by exchanging surface mails. * At this moment, we do not make a clear definition of each group, so that please think flexibly. One university/institute can prepare one agreement (even there is one person), or a couple universities (like a country, region, whatever) can prepare one agreement. == List of registered groups == Total 62 groups, as of July 11, 2019; shift list 265 persons. || No. || Affiliation1 || Affiliation2 || Region || representative || #_O3shiftcandidates || || 102 || The University of Tokyo || Institute for Cosmic Ray Research (ICRR) || Japan || Masatake Ohashi || 39 || || 108 || Kavli Institute for the Physics and Mathematics of the Universe (IPMU) || || Japan || Misao Sasaki || 1 || || 114 || The University of Tokyo || Research Center for the Early Universe (RESCEU) || Japan || Jun'ichi Yokoyama || 14 || || 115 || The University of Tokyo || Department of Physics || Japan || Masaki Ando || 13 || || 120 || National Astronomical Observatory of Japan (NAOJ) || Gravitational Wave Project Office || Japan || Takayuki Tomaru || 20 || || 126 || High Energy Accelerator Research Organization (KEK) || Applied Research Laboratory || Japan || Nobuhiro Kimura || 7 || || 130 || Tokyo Institute of Technology || Graduate School of Science and Technology || Japan || Kentaro Somiya || 8 || || 136 || Waseda University || Department of Physics || Japan || Shoichi Yamada || 1 || || 142 || National Institute of Information and Communications Technology (NICT) || || Japan || Shigeo Nagano || 1 || || 144 || The Institute of Statistical Mathematics || Department of Mathematical Analysis and Statistical Inference || Japan || Shuhei Mano || 1 || || 150 || National Defense Academy of Japan || Department of Communications || Japan || Tomoyuki Uehara || 1 || || 152 || Institute of Space and Astronautical Science (JAXA) || || Japan || Kiwamu Izumi || 2 || || 153 || Aoyama Gakuin University || Department of Physics and Mathematics || Japan || Ryo Yamazaki || 10 || || 154 || Toho University || Faculty of Science || Japan || Yuichiro Sekiguchi || 1 || || 160 || National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology || National Metrology Institute of Japan || Japan || Souichi Telada || 1 || || 180 || Osaka City University || Graduate School of Science, Nambu Yoichiro Institute of Theoretical and Experimental Physics (NITEP) || Japan || Nobuyuki Kanda || 12 || || 185 || Osaka University || Department of Earth and Space Science, Graduate School of Science || Japan || Luca Baiotti || 1 || || 186 || Osaka Institute of Technology || Faculty of Information Science and Technology || Japan || Hisaaki Shinkai || 1 || || 192 || Kyoto University (w Ryukoku, Kyushu) || Department of Physics || Japan || Takahiro Tanaka || 6 || || 200 || Hiroshima University || Department of Physical Science || Japan || Yasufumi Kojima || 2 || || 210 || Fukuoka University || Department of Applied Physics || Japan || Kazuhiro Hayama || 6 || || 230 || University of Toyama || Department of Physics || Japan || Yoshiki Moriwaki || 14 || || 240 || Nagaoka University of Technology || Department of Information \& Management Systems Engineering || Japan || Hirotaka Takahashi || 3 || || 244 || Niigata University || Graduate School of Science and Technology || Japan || Ken-ichi Oohara || 10 || || 302 || Ewha Womans University || Department of Physics || Korea || Chunglee Kim || 2 || || 304 || Hanyang University || Department of Physics || Korea || Hyun Kyu Lee || 1 || || 306 || Inje University || Department of Computer Simulation || Korea || Hyung Won Lee || 2 || || 314 || Korea University || Department of Physics || Korea || Tai Hyun Yoon || 2 || || 320 || Myongji University || Department of Physics, Atom Optics Lab. || Korea || Jaewan Kim || 1 || || 322 || National Institute for Mathematical Sciences || || Korea || John J.
