Somiya: X-ray burst => high frequency ?

• Updates on WP of science part (Nishizawa) link

  • Science summary table is better to be included in the white paper
  • Can we make a total score of four upgrade options ?

• Updates on WP of technology part (Somiya, Matteo, Haino, ...)

  • Matteo: Main discussions are considerations of the filter cavity length (60m VS 300m) with some reasonable other parameters (not too much optimistic).
  • It would be good if we can include a recommendation of the diameter of filter cavity vacuum tube
• Recommendations from FPC

• We will freeze the current release of WP on Sunday, April/14 and circulate to KAGRA on April/15

• Agenda for the satellite meeting

  • Filter cavity talk (Matteo/Eleonora) and discussions
  • Suspension discussions (possibly also talk)

  • Another talk (TAMA experiment) will be given in the R&D session of main f2f meeting

  • 1-hour slot is being assigned in the main f2f first day (April/19) morning to report about the satellite meeting and for the discussions on white paper and plan

• A short introduction article in KSC newsletter => SH will circulate the draft to FPC

  • GWADW: Matteo is asking to assign a KAGRA+ talk in (Tuesday AM2/Stefan Ballmer)
  • Amaldi: Somiya-san is the chair of 2G session, he can assign a talk for KAGRA+

Action Items

• We will freeze the current release of WP on Sunday, April/14 and circulate to KAGRA on April/15

• Collecting the science part (Coordinated by Nishizawa, ... )
  • Try to get total score for 4 upgrade options by using number for stars

• Scoring the relevance to KAGRA and feasibility of each technology: ver.5 by KS, YM, SH, ML, KK

• Sensitivity design and optimization
• KAGRA sensitivity code management

  • Integrating Michimura-san's python code with GWINC KAGRA sensitivity in pyGWINC style

• Conferences

  • GWADW (Elba), May/19-25 Matteo is contacting the chair of Tuesday AM2 and ask for the talk for KAGRA+

  • Amaldi conference (Valencia), July/7-12 Somiya-san is the chair of 2G session and he can assign a talk for KAGRA+
