KAGRA information
(1) ADS for ETMXY using common/differential scheme succeeded.
- Because of this success, we changed the LOCK_LSC guardian process a little bit.
- LOCK_LSC guardian Process: Assuming from "DOWN" state
- (a) Down (as an initial condition)
- (b) Push "PRFPMI_LSC_LOCKED_RF", not "OBSERVATIUON".
- (c) If IFO reaches "PRFPMI_LSC_LOCKED_RF" state, wait until the TMSXY power seem to be maximized.
- (d) If you judge TMSXY power is around max, push "OBSERVATION".
- note: OMC hand off (PRFPMI_LSC_LOCKED) still has unstability, and tends to fail. We are still tweeking now.
- (e) IF IFO reaches "OBSERVATION", ADS for ETMs will be off, and BPC will be ON.
- Good oplev values will be recorded every 10 seconds. So if IFO unlocks, almost mirrors alignment will be kept according to the previous good oplev values. In this sense, SAL alignment will be the last last method to recover the IFO locking to recover IFO locking because IFO locking itself has a function to find a good alignment automatically. SAL has some amount of misalignment because it is done by human judge.

(2) SAF/FCL work is scheduled in the morning
(3) PEM work is scheduled in the morning
(4) CAL work for pre-observation will be done in this morning
(5) ASC will be tried until 16:00 after CAL work. Optical setting for ASC on the AS table was recovered yesterday.

This is announcements from the office for today.
As for COVID-19,
If you work in the control room or on a shift, it was decided that everyone should wear a mask (last night, I discussed this with Prof. Ohashi and others). We will be giving out a few masks to these people, so please come to the office. However, please be careful not to dispose of the product once, but to use it multiple times.
We will no longer have towels for common use from tomorrow. Paper towels are also in short supply, and it is difficult to buy them because they are out of stock. Please bring your own handkercheif. If a state of emergency is declared, Kamioka staffs may also be forced to work from home.
Please take responsibility for the disposal of food, etc. in the refrigerator.
