PC Preparation

Network
- The network where you use PCs should be "DGS" network in KAGRA site.
- Wifi access points "k1ctrA", "k1ctrG" and so on are prepared at the KAGRA site. Please ask DGS group members about access pass.
- If you want to use utp cable network connection to enter DGS network in the KAGRA data analysis building, please ask "Miyoki" and "Miyakawa".
PCs to Launch Xterm or Basic applications
- UNIX k1ctr1~9 servers : Prepared by DGS group in Control room and KAGRA site.
- Mac OSX : X11 is required.
- Windows10 : Cygwin is required.
  - Cygwin installation itself is explained here https://www.cygwin.com/ .
  - X11 option, NET option should be installed, additionally.

Open Xterm and ssh

UNIX
- You need not launch Xterm to use Basic Tools such as "sitemap" and so on because the direct icons are prepared.
MacOS X11 and Windows Cygwin X11
- Launch Xterm.
- Type "ssh -Y controls@k1ctr*.kagra.icrr.u-tokyo.ac.jp". * can be 1 ~ 9.
- Some k1ctr* are in the control room, some are in KAGRA site. So select servers according to where you use, otherwise response becomes bad due to network connection.
