= 20181107 = * [[http://klog.icrr.u-tokyo.ac.jp/osl/?r=6885]] == Today's activities == * Workers around the NAB: Akutsu, Yano, Simon, K. Tanaka * Helpers: Hayakawa, Nakata * Took out the NAB suspension. * Opened the aluminum pack which covered the NAB suspension in the wooden box (only one-side opened) on the "jambo" cargo. * We found a nut was detached from somewhere... it turned out from one of the stopper rods. Probably it was out during the 3-km move yesterday (?) or the transportation from Mitaka. * Detached some screws which fixed one of the wooden foot beams to the wooden box; the wooden foot beams were for fixing the assembly frame of the NAB suspension structure. * Pulled up the NAB suspension slightly over the wooden box with a portable gantry crane ([[http://www.asada.co.jp/product/s785307.html|Sumner S785103]]), which was brought from NAOJ. Two slings and four eyebolts were used (one sling for two eyebolts). * Moved the cargo to open space under the hanged NAB suspension. * Pulled down the NAB suspension with the assembly frame on the floor; before that, we somehow moved whole the NAB + the crane toward the IYA clean booth from the arm side so that the front wheels of the NAB assembly frame can overcome the difference of floor level in front of the booth entrance. * Then push the NAB into the IYA clean booth. {{attachment:IMG_7489.jpg|NAB#2 |width="500"}} {{attachment:IMG_7487.jpg|Detached nut |width="300"}} {{attachment:IMG_7488.jpg|Detached nut |width="300"}} * Did the first check of the delivered NAB * Unwrapped the final plastic sheet around the NAB suspension in the clean booth. * In addtion to the detached nut, we found several screws were loosened but not fully detached. Probably those were due to the mechanical shocks during the 3-km move or the transportatoin as already mentioned. Yano-san confirmed those were torqued again at Mitaka just before shipping. * Need furthur nuting...?? * Some of the double-nut parts, especially the screws sandwiching the ear of the NAB were rigid. * Brought back the cargo and the portable crane to Yend. * Brought some tools from IXA. == Next Plan == * Check the balance of the suspended NAB after leveling the assembly frame. * Then pull up the NAB suspension from the assembly frame, and insert into the Inoue tower, which was already taken out from the IYA by some days ago. * Do some sanity checks. * Attach PD holders. (As a night shift?) * Insert the whole NAB suspension into the IYA. (How to align to where??) * Do some sanity checks. * Measure the resonant frequencies and the Q-factors with laser displacement sensors?? and oplevs? == Wanted! ==
