There will be a committee meeting for computing resource distributions on Dec. 12th as I mentioned at Beijing. KISTI GSDC had a pre-meeting, and the following requests will be proposed for approval;

1. Change the level of computing service for KAGRA from a test-bed to an official user group.
2. Allocate computing resources for KAGRA; 30TB storage and 40 CPU cores in 2017, which may be expanded in the coming years according to user's activity and available budget.

The request #1 is the most important this time I think.
#2 fulfills Kazuhiro's request in part.

- DetChar requests

The detchar activities need the support from KIST seriously.
The detchar provides tools and publishes summary pages in a web server.
At present, one PC is doing these activities, but we estimate the resource is not enough.
It would be great if the KISTI can support that activities, that is, running detchar tools, mirroring the summary pages.
We discussed this with KGWG detchar members and estimated computation cost we would like to request.

Here is the list of our request from 2017~2019.

Short term goal(2017)
o Daily data transfer
The latency is 1 day.
o To open daily summary pages in the KISTI web-server
This is a mirror of the detchar web server in ICRR.
o Web tools
Detchar tools are running on the KISTI cluster. The tools are executed through the web server.
o computation resource
CPU: ~ 20 core 2.8GHzXenon equivalent
memory: 39GB
storage: 150GB
datatransfer rate: 208GB/day~76TB/yr

Next goal(2018-2019)
o Low latency data transfer including 250 PEM and aux channels
The latency is one hour.
o To open daily summary page
same above.
o Web tools
same above.
o computation resource
40 core 2.8GHzXenon equivalent
memory 396GB
storage 800TB
data transfer rate: 20MB/s~630TB/yr
