PEM injection rehearsal (First)

Introduction

bKAGRA phase1のランの直後に行われるPEMインジェクションに向けて、機器の取扱や解析コード、KAGRA坑内での実験手順の確認などのために、PEMインジェクションのリハーサルを行う必要があった。このページでは、このリハーサルについての情報をまとめる。

Experimental setup

Injection target

Toy pendulum and photosensor. This corresponds to the interferometer in the real PEM injection.

  • Channel: K1:PEM-IY0_SENSOR11_OUT_DQ
    • This channel was calibrated to m from counts.
    • calibration factor was XXXXX.
  • We put the photosensor in three differention position
    • position a, linear range
    • position b, non-linear range
    • position c, between a and b

Sensors

  • Magnetometer
    • Type: Mag649, Bartington
    • Channel: K1:PEM-IY0_SENSOR5_OUT_DQ -- K1:PEM-IY0_SENSOR7_OUT_DQ, and K1:PEM-IY0_SENSORS10_OUT_DQ. These channels were calibrated to T from counts.
      • 5=x-axis (vertically orthogonal pendulum motion), 6=y-axis (along pendulum motion), 7=z-axis (horizontally orthogonal pendulum motion), 10=y-axis without whitening filter (This channel was added after 3rd measurement on 15th Feb.).
  • Accelerometer
    • Type: XXXX, Kistler
    • Channel: K1:PEM-IY0_SENSOR8_OUT_DQ. This channel was calibrated to m/s^2 from counts.
    • This accelerometer measured penulum motion axis.
  • Microphone
    • Type: XXXX, audio-technica
    • Channel:K1:PEM-IY0_SENSOR9_OUT_DQ. This channel was calibrated to Pa from counts.

Actuators

  • Speaker
    • Type: XXXX
    • Input voltage should be smaller than 100 V.
  • Coil: Ando lab's instruments. For detail, please check Okada-san's Master thesis.
  • Amplifier
    • Type: XXXX
  • FIlter: SR560
  • Impulse response: screw driver

Discussion

Comments in evaluation meeting on 16th Feb..

  • Additional tools should be developped.
    • For example, hoge
  • Systematic analysis method should be considered.
    • 例えば、音響インジェクションをしている時に、マイクの出力が本当に音で揺れているのか、スピーカーから発生している磁場とのカップリングなのか分かっていないと解析結果がめちゃくちゃになる。
    • 解析前(例えば設置前に)に各センサーのノイズバジェットを作っておけば良いかもしれない。
    • 時間があれば、センサー等を設置したあとにやるのがベストだが時間がなさそう。
  • Next rehearsal
    • In Y-end (Must, Mid. of April?)
    • Injection to WAB whose test is ongoing in IYC chammber.
  • Estimation of the mirror motions of ETMs and BS.
    • Before the actual injection, we should estimate the mirror motion (ETMs and BS) actuated by our coil.
