Setup frame builder for small network test

  1. change IP address and default gateway address on /etc/conf.d/net
  2. change host name on /etc/conf.d/hostname to k1tst1
  3. change host names for network on /etc/hosts
  4. setup dhcp daemon on /etc/dhcp/dhcpd.conf to put RTFE for MAC address, IP address, hostname
  5. modify /etc/export to export /diskless/root
  6. modify /diskless/pxelinux.cfg/default to point proper nfs root
  7. restert

PXE boot

  1. Set the computer to boot remotely (easiest way is to just pull the harddrive and make sure there are no CDs in
    • Alternatively you can set the boot order in the setup

setting under /diskless/root
