Input-Output Optics Subsystem
Objective of the subgroup
To Design the Input-Output Optics (IOO) Subsystem for the LCGT Interferometer.
About the IOO System
IOO Subsystem consists of almost all the optical compoments which are not belong to the Laser Subsystem and the Main Interferometer. The Input Optics Subsystem contains a 10m-long Mode and RF-sideband Cleaner (MC1), a 15m-long Mode Cleaner (MC2), a Mach-Zehnder Modulator (MZM), Mode Matching Telescopes (MMT1-4) and Faraday Isolators (FI1-2). The Output Optics Subsystem contains an Output Mode Cleaner (OMC) and a Mode Matching Telescope (MMT5). All photodetectors used in the LCGT are also dealed in the IOO Subsystem.
