Updates from Projects
- IFO modeling
- Why not to use "diff" command (and its history)
- Updated sensing matrix with "fsig" command
- jupyter notebook on git was updated to use python3
- Comparison v.s. analytical calculation
Matrices do not match very much
- Analytical calculations seems suspicious
- Next steps
- DRFPMI model
- Include the higher order modes (FPMI, PRFPMI, DRFPMI)
- Birefringence modeling (Haoyou)
- The couple cavity model can hardly reflect the real S-P conversion process as S and P modes have different responses to tunings of PRM.
- Carefully testing a simple PRC configuration with the S-P conversion using a fake BS. In the model using a BS to separate S and P, there is i multiplied for the BS transmission, which does not happen in the real S-P conversion process. It should be properly treated in Finesse.
- OMC modeling (June Gyu)
- Building the OMC model. Possibly some initial results will be obtained in a week or so.
- Simulation Interface
- Had the second lecture by Yuzu-san on Aug 5th
- Installed Anaconda, Finesse2
- Had the second lecture by Yuzu-san on Aug 5th
Plan during Aug 17-27
- Hirose-san and Koyama-san will visit Kamioka
- Yuzu-san will be in Kamioka for instruction from 17(Mon) afternoon to 26(Wed) evening.
Next meeting
- Aug 19, 15:00-, zoom3.
