  * With Hiro-san's help, we concluded S=>P conversion gets i phase shift!
  * The next problem is when we use BS to simulate bosh S and P worlds at the same time, we don't know how to set the phase
     * s=>p can be treated as loss giving up to simulate S and P worlds at the same time, but it ignores the second order effect (S=>P=>S).
     * There may be some solutions to manuplate the S=>P conversion map. We should look-back the conversion map calculation.
     * There may be an exotic solution on the Michelson phase?

Updates from Projects

  • Finesse interface
    • Aiming the first version release during their visit
    • Added amplitude detectors
    • Figures were updated
    • Documenting how to GUI
    • Confirming if simulation results are correct
  • Ifo model
    • Matrix change when SRM is coming from non-reso to reso in SRC will be calculated (DRMI)
  • OMC model
    • Next steps is to inject the simulated AS beam to OMC. But HOM extension of the ifo model hasn't been done.
  • Birefringence model
    • Haoyou's report link
