HW presented his slides again, proposing to use a MZI model for the S-P conversion
Remaining question was: How to calculate alpha_{-}?
- (YA, LM) It can be calculated as alpha_{e} - alpha_{o} proportional dl(theta)-dl(theta+pi/2).
- The S-P conversion map will be calculated!
Fizeau interferometer at NAOJ?
Phase camera can measure the current P field. Comparing it with the model will be interesting. The project is still at an idea phase and needs to consider how to obtain the instrument and personpower etc.
(LM) There are power terms on the mirror phase map depending on the mirror rotation, i.e., depends on the C axis tilt angle w.r.t the optical axis on the mirror plane. We must take this into account to the S-P map generation.
