Updates from Projects

  • Birefringence simulation

    • The p-pol beam shape was measured in KAGRA. klog 20103

    • We try our best to calibrate the TWE maps and compare the beam shape simulation with the measurement. caliTWE

    • Offset, tilt and centering can largely influence our birefringence maps. We are not sure how much error is there in Hirose-san's TWE measurements.
    • We remove the gravity induced deformation in the TWE maps.
  • Future plan
    • Measure p-pol beam shape for ITMY.
    • Measure power of s/p pol beam and arm cavity round trip loss.
    • Measure p-pol beam shape vs. beam position on ITMs
