iKAGRA ETM suspension preparation; current status

Schedule

• 12th Jan- (2 weeks) Disassembling and Washing (favorable)
• 25th Jan - (2 weeks) Assembling and Test Hanging with dummy mirror
• 1th Feb- (1 week) coil winding,
• 7th Feb- (1 week) measurement of transfer function and transportation to the End and installation test
• 15th Feb- installation

Disassembling at Mitaka [Ohishi]

• finished. (12th-19th)

• [problem]
  • 2 nuts stuck: solved by Hirata-san
  • A Cu screw stuck: solved by Hirata-san

Washing [Hirata-san]

• most of the parts were washed.

• [problem]
  • ultra sonic washer broken 20th ordered on 22th(Fri) will be arrive at Mitaka on 26th(Tue)
  • 8 screws for adjusting the IM holding plate was dirty
    • Solution: order new screws (not ordered yet)

Missing parts

• coil bobbin [Takahashi-san]
• coil winding [students of Ando-lab]
• D-sub fixture plates [Takahashi-san]
• mirror container [Tatsumi-san]
• magnets for dummy mirror (4 ; 2-phi-L-5mm Nd magnets) [Ohishi]
• some screws in replace with Cu screws [Ohishi]

pico-motors and PZTs

• We have 4 pico-motors except for x-axis (the direction of the light ) y, z, pitch, yaw

coil driver

• We use KAGRA coil driver; we need to cheek its performance.

cables

Assembling [Tomaru, Ohishi, Yamamoto]

• On 21th, suspension frame, security frame, xy stages completed

Hanging

• Hanging jig preparation

Transfer Function Measurement

Transportation to the End
