At Kamioka (Mark, Enzo, Simon, Type Bp team):
 * Mark remade the BF pico adapter cable which was poorly made and had also been damaged.
 * The Type Bp team tided up the BS rack and made new labels for many cables (thanks!).
 * Enzo connected up the in-air cables for the picos and steppers.
 * Mark and Enzo renumbered the PI LVDTs, geophones and LVDTs to make a consistent scheme working anticlockwise.
 * Enzo and Mark debugged all the cables. The only problem we couldn't solve was that the actuator coil for PI LVDT #0 is open-circuit at the connector on the LVDT. (It has been intermittent but worked before the craning.) We may have to redo the connector or replace the LVDT. Limited TFs will be possible in the next week.
 * Simon set up the LSOL and was easily able to get a return beam from the mirror on the dummy BS.
 * Shoda-san copied over the LSOL section of the PR3 real-time model into the BS model and made other improvements (thanks!).
 * Mark brought home
At Kamioka (Mark, Ohishi-san, Fabian, Enzo, Hirata-san, Yoshioka-kun):
 * We moved all the in-air cables over to the tank.
 * We plugged all the in-air and in-vacuum cables into the feedthroughs and checked that we got signals from all the output channels (actuation not yet tested). We had to work around a snag with the new F-F gender changers that replace many Type 1 and Type 2 cables: like the vacuum feedthroughs, they flip pins 1 and 5. The in-air cables don't plug directly into the feedthroughs very well, so we made up some non-flipping adapters similar to the anti-feedthrough adapters.
 * Hirata-san fixed a problem with one of the rods supporting the LBB Cu ring, where the head was not seating in the receptacle at the bottom. The head was slightly bent so he just reinstalled the rod upside-down to move the bent head to a less critical spot. (This also establishes that it's possible to install the rods later if we need to, although it's more convenient to bring them in with the suspension on the crane as we've been doing it.)
 * We suspended the LBB. Per a request from Akutsu-san, we set it as high as we easily could. We decided on 30 mm higher than in the CAD, for a height of 367 (instead of 397) mm for the beam line above the LBB.
 * We moved a lot of stuff out of the +X side of the cleanbooth to behind SRM, so that Mirapro could connect the section of beam duct between the BS tank and the X arm. They put the new section in position but have not connected it up yet.
 * Hirata-san worked with Mirapro to get the SR assembly frame assembled in the SR3 area. (Insertion of the LBB and installation of the top of the tank is planned for 10/18-20.)
 * We investigated a problem with the IM OSEM readings, which were far from mid-range. Although Fabian and Ohishi-san got the payload hanging nicely on Thu 9/21, sometime between then and when we plugged the OSEMs back in on 9/28, the BF and IRM apparently tipped considerably (with the +X corner high) so that the H2 and H3 OSEM flags are fouling on the bottom and top of their respective OSEMs.
 * [To be continued. Do our intrepid investigators fix the problem without having to crane the suspension out of the tank again? Stay tuned for the next exciting installment!]

At Mitaka (Fabian, Hirata-san):
 * Fabian finished designing final trim masses for IM/BF/SF for the final hang of the BS and passed it to Hirata-san to make drawings and get quotes.
 * Hirata-san requested quotes for the replaceable-jaw version of the BS wire clamps.
 * Fabian and Hirata-san gathered needed items for the BS prism/flag gluing.
 * Hirata-san designed receptacles for the new rods with 8 mm heads and requested quotes.
==== Plan for week of 10/2 ====
Kamioka: Mark, Enzo (Tue-Fri), Fabian, Ohishi-san.
 * Finish preparation for SR2 work.
 * '''Fix BF/IRM tilt issue!!!'''
 * Debug electronics, especially actuation.
 * Tune IP, do LVDT/stepper calibration.
 * Remove First Contact, try OL.

==== Plan for week of 7/3 ====
 * Do prism/flag gluing on real BS at Kashiwa (whole team).
 * Do new 3D CAD (Hirata-san):
  * SR2 on BS assembly frame. (Adjust jack positions if possible, or leave for Fabian/Mark to do.)
  * Final BS build, SS/PI/SF as for Test Hang but with BF/IRM/IM/BS/RM down rotated back to original direction.
   * On-assembly-frame version. (Adjust jack positions if possible, or leave for Mark to do.)
   * In-tank version.
 * Solve arc weight versus magic wand problem.
 * Do mass budget for LBB - design ballast masses (Fabian)
 * Run TFs, make improvements to real-time model (Mark, Enzo).
==== Plan for week of 7/10 ====
 Mark and Enzo at Kamioka:
 * Fix broken LVDT actuator coil.
 * Test picos and steppers more fully.
