* Type B Past Week Summary
  * Fabian worked on IM and dummy BS assembly: photos1, photos2
   * A hole in a picomotor holder was too small. ATC staff solved this isue quickly and Hirata-san cleaned the piece.
   * Some ballast discs for the dummy optic were dirty (seen by visual inspection). Hirata-san cleaned them.
   * Some arrows were cleaned from the mirrors for the dummy optic.
  * Hirata-san worked on checking Mirapro's assembly frame design - some minor issues with rail system found.
  * Hirata-san measured another filter.
  * Hirata-san washed a large batch of parts.
  * All parts for gluing of dummy BS are in hand. We arranged with Tatsumi-san to glue magnets at Mitaka on 6/6, glue flags at Kashiwa on 6/8, and inspect bonds and bring dummy BS back to Mitaka 6/13.
  * Mark worked on solutions to allow a larger mirror on dummy BS. After discussions with Simon and Akutsu-san we decided to go with a stainless steel plate solution. The gluing can go ahead and we can attach the plates later.
  * Mark worked on list of items for purchase in FY2016.
  * Mark worked on finding connectors for vacuum-compatible geophone adapters.
  * Mark worked more on E1504235 BS Assembly Procedure (Draft on OneDrive)
 * Discussions
  * Crane will not be available on 13-14 of June.
  * Review: fix the date (Mark)
  * Measurement of iKAGRA BS position will be done in the second week of June. Then it will be taken out of the chamber after that (Ohishi)
 * IM, RM, IRM, dummy BS assembly
  * Fabian assembled the dummy BS and started on the IM.
  * Still need to find SDC-treated hook for maraging wire in IM. Still not found. Spare hook is being SDC-treated. Can be added later.
  * Will start assembly 5/30
 * Wires
  * Fabian analysis RM wire thickness versus mode frequency: link, another link,yet another link (From last week: T1605106 /draft)

  * Fukushima-san has not yet started the work. He will start soon (as of 5/27).
 * Flags, Metal Prisms, Sapphire prisms RECEIVED
 * Mirror box and Flag/Prism gluing
  * All parts in hand.
  * Magnet gluing and check of parts at Mitaka, Monday 6/6.
  * Gluing at Kashiwa, Wednesday 6/8.
  * Inspection of bonds and return to Mitaka, 6/13.
 * An extra structure attached to the EQ stop to prevent tipping over of the BS - no action since last week.

Past week report
At Kamioka (Mark, Fabian, Enzo, Perry, Hirata-san):

 * We removed the PI from the assembly frame.
 * We encountered a problem with the PI-SF rod jamming in the SF. We finally got it out by clamping a pig of vice grips to the rod and hammering. We found that the receptacle part was the right size (7.0 mm) but had been deformed around the edge. Hirata-san used a knife and sandpaper to lean up the edge and then ultrasonically cleaned it.
 * We cleared space for the PR2 team to remove a bellows from their tank.
 * We installed safety bars near the assembly frame at about waist height for someone on the tall ladder. We reinforced the clamps with cable ties.
 * We removed the LLB blade units from the PI, removed the blades from the clamps and sent the blades away for more rework to fix the length problem. Fortunately the tab section at the tip is fairly long, so we can just add a second hole further from the end.
 * We removed the SF cap and stored it on crossbars within the assembly frame.
 * We tested the SR fishing rod again, but it would only go up, not down. We found that reseting the driver fixed it, but we also moved the driver boxes into the cleanbooth to reduce the length of the motor cables. (Instead, we had to run some long DC and LAN cables.)
 * We adjusted the limit nut on the SF fishing rod to increase the range.
 * We removed one segment of the Cu ring on the SF cap and reconfigured the rest to be symmetrical.
 * Fabian designed a layout for the SF damper ring magnets that would work with the modified Cu ring, and placed the magnets with the template. The poles of the magnets were not on the expected faces so we had to stand the magnets up with the ,

Week of 5/15:
 * Enzo from Tuesday 5/16 (driving test), rest of team from Monday.
 * Fix PI-SF rod jamming.
 * Remove PI and SF cap.
 * Continue debugging SF LVDT.
 * Reconfigure Cu damper ring on SF.
 * Add magnets to upper SF damper ring.
 * Add cable clamps on the PI (a few places are inaccessible when the PI is on the assembly frame).
 * Reinstall PI, this time with rods and damper ring.
 * Reinstall PI-SF rod, this time with hex cable clamp.
 * Prepare for PR2 bellows removal on 5/15 (move table with tools).
 * Cable/test PI horizontal LVDTs and steppers.
 * Install/cable/test geophones.
