BFs: * BF No. 1: * Fujii-san finished tuning. Optimal load: 52.15[kg]. Resonance frequency: 0.36[Hz]. Optimal height: 64.7[mm]. * We wired the LVDT, Picomotor and Steppermotor. * We measured the keystone tilt at different points and the diferences are within 0.1[mm] * We added cable clamps to the base. * BF No.7: * Fujii-san replaced the blades corresponding to the BS and for the SR type blades. * The yoke position was corrected. * The fishing rod was assembled. * Compression tuning is ongoing. SFs: * Hirata-san and Tanioka-san set up the frame to check the SFs. * SF (B2-5): * Hirata-san, Fujii-san and Tanioka-san checked the optimal load with and without cap. The optimal load changes about 250[g]. * We measured the keystone tilt at different points, and the diferences are within 0.1[mm] * SF (B2-6): * Hirata-san, Fujii-san and Tanioka-san checked the optimal load with and without cap (On going?). * We measured the keystone tilt at different points, and the diferences are within 0.3[mm] SR3/SRM: * Kozu-kun and Enzo finished the SR3 in-air cabling. * Enzo prepared the SR3 and SRM rack in parallel (On going). BS: * Kozu-kun and Enzo helped Enomoto-san troubleshooting the BS Oplev issue (On going). * SF check (Hirata-san++). * We checked the load capacity with and without the cap. * We checked fit of caps. For the SF No. * Add cable clamps to bases. * Add cable clamps and Cu segments to caps (only if they fit well). * Cable LVDTs and steppers. * We finished the SR3 in-air cabling. ==== Plan for week of 4/2 ==== * Mark at Mitaka Mon, Kamioka from Tue. * Shoda-san at Mitaka * Others at Kamioka * -- * Finish BFs tasks (cabling +calibration) * Finish SFs tasks (cabling +calibration) * Add cable clamps to bases. * Glue SR3 mirror? * Add cable clamps and Cu segments to caps (only if they fit well). * Build 2xIM, 2xIRM |
* We received the SR3 but found Hirose-san had applied the First Contact patterns on the wrong sides, so we took it to Yamamoto-san's lab and Toyama University and re-applied the FC properly. We also bounced a 1064 nm beam off it to verify that the HR and AR coatings were not also swapped (they were OK). * We made magnet-standoff assemblies for both SR3 and SRM, and set up for gluing the prisms and magnets. We will attach the prisms and magnet-standoffs on Monday. * Hirata-san did inventory of the SR3/SRM payload parts received last week and started on the inventory of screws. * Fujii-kun, Enzo and team finished the preparation, adjustment and calibration of the SFs and BFs. * Fujii-kun and Yamamoto-kun got the SR3 real time model running. * Enzo finished setting up the SR3 and SRM racks. (The SRM rack still lacks a front-end, and power and network connections, but the SR3 is now ready for testing.) * Shoda-san worked on getting quotes for the ballast masses, on design of the SRM metal mass, and on splitting the BS model to reduce the load on the front-end computer. |

Report for week of 4/2
- We received the SR3 but found Hirose-san had applied the First Contact patterns on the wrong sides, so we took it to Yamamoto-san's lab and Toyama University and re-applied the FC properly. We also bounced a 1064 nm beam off it to verify that the HR and AR coatings were not also swapped (they were OK).
- We made magnet-standoff assemblies for both SR3 and SRM, and set up for gluing the prisms and magnets. We will attach the prisms and magnet-standoffs on Monday.
- Hirata-san did inventory of the SR3/SRM payload parts received last week and started on the inventory of screws.
- Fujii-kun, Enzo and team finished the preparation, adjustment and calibration of the SFs and BFs.
- Fujii-kun and Yamamoto-kun got the SR3 real time model running.
- Enzo finished setting up the SR3 and SRM racks. (The SRM rack still lacks a front-end, and power and network connections, but the SR3 is now ready for testing.)
- Shoda-san worked on getting quotes for the ballast masses, on design of the SRM metal mass, and on splitting the BS model to reduce the load on the front-end computer.
