Type B (Mark)

Report for week of 9/10

• We finish the invacuum and in air cabling for SR2, but the in-vacuum cables for Geophones and F0 Yaw stepper motor are temporary and will be replaced later, once the suspension is inside the tank.
• We debugged the IM OSEMs and fixed two broken in-vacuum cables and some mislabeled in-air cables.
• We debugged an issue with the IP LVDTs and discovered it was a broken interface card D1402829 in the LVDT driver. We made up a working chassis with the original two driver cards, so we didn't have to reset all the phases and gains.
• We reset the IP FRs to midrange.
• We added a basic set of arc weights and recentered the IP. We then adjusted the verticality of the security structure.
• We relocked the IP temporarily, unlocked the SF/... section and aligned the IM OSEMs.
• We powered down the BS, SR3 and SR2 electronics in preparation for the power outage.

Type B (Mark)

Report for week of 9/3

• We did more in-vacuum and in-air cabling for SR2 and got nearly everything connected.
• We debugged the IM OSEMs and fixed two broken in-vacuum cables and some mislabeled in-air cables.
• We debugged an issue with the IP LVDTs and discovered it was a broken interface card D1402829 in the LVDT driver. We made up a working chassis with the original two driver cards, so we didn't have to reset all the phases and gains.

• Recover from power outage.

SR2

• Calibrate F0 LVDTs.
• Calibrate IP LVDTs.
• Cable geophones and any other remaining PI items.
• Finish in-air cabling (sort out and relabel rack and feedthrough ends of any repurposed cables).
• Do basic go/no-go test of electronic items.
• Check SF keystone height and offload with FR as necessary.
• Adjust ballast/trim mass of SF, with reserve for yaw stepper.
• Set SF damper magnet ring height.
• Check/tweak optic pitch.
• TFs.

Plan for week of 9/17

• Monday 9/17 is holiday (Respect for the Aged Day).
• Enzo on vacation.
• Mark, Hirata-san, Fabian, Panwei at Kamioka Tue-Fri.

SR2

• Crane SR2 into tank.
• Move SR2 in-air cables.
• Remove First Contact.
• Unlock and realign suspension.

SRM

• Set pitch of SRM and RM, tighten clamps, remove winch system.
• Weigh IM/... section.
• Build up SS to BF level.
• Add BF.

Plan for week of 9/24

• Monday 9/24 is holiday (Autumn Equinox).
• Mark, Hirata-san, Fabian, Panwei at Kamioka Tue-Fri.
• Suspend IM and tweak height/balance.

SRM

• Cable/test BF.
• Install IRM.
• Install/cable/test IM OSEMs.
