| * Type B Past Week Summary * Akutsu-san provided a set of cleanroom gear (shoes only slightly too tight!) for use by Mark this week. And Sakamoto-san sent another set from Kamioka to Kashiwa. * The RM, IM and IRM were weighed, and wrapped/packed for shipment to Kamioka. * Mark made a checklist of all the parts of the BS mirror box and gluing jig, to help with collecting the parts from Kashiwa. * Hirata-san removed the remaining glue from the BS primary and secondary prisms, as well as the prisms removed from the PR hanging test mirror. * Type B ongoing issues * OSEMs * Akutsu-san is working to get wide-mouth OSEMs ([[http://klog.icrr.u-tokyo.ac.jp/osl/?r=1853|2 assembled]]; another few were assembled and a batch of 7 were washed. * Mark worked on the schedule, making the next few weeks more realistic and incorporating the new plan for the SR RMs (the test will be used for SR2 but two more will be made from scratch next financial year). * Longer cables for BF->PI and SF->PI. * Connectors RECEIVED, cables being made. * SR machining test NEARLY DONE. === Type B (Mark) === ==== Past week report ==== * Hirata-san: * Worked on the PR optic removal jig. * Enzo-san * Worked on getting his drivers license. * Mark, Fabian (at Kamioka): * Tried different strategies for getting the IRM-IM EQ stops and IRM OSEMs to line up simultaneously. * Realized that the main problem was that the pitch of the BS had changed relative to the IM (presumably due to slight slippage of the wires) so the IM had to be pitched up by 16 mrad to get the BS pitched slightly down (4.7 mrad). * Took the sides off the IRM to get access to the clamps and tightened them to prevent further slips. * Rebalanced the IM to be level in pitch (and roll). * Reassembled the IRM and aligned the IRM-IM EQ stops - this time it was easy. * Adjusted the IRM and RM OSEMs to mid-range. ==== Plan for coming weeks ==== * Mark and Enzo come to Kamioka and work on rack and cabling. * Fabian works on design, including SR assembly frame. * |
