| * Type B Past Week Summary * Akutsu-san provided a set of cleanroom gear (shoes only slightly too tight!) for use by Mark this week. And Sakamoto-san sent another set from Kamioka to Kashiwa. * The RM, IM and IRM were weighed, and wrapped/packed for shipment to Kamioka. * Mark made a checklist of all the parts of the BS mirror box and gluing jig, to help with collecting the parts from Kashiwa. * Hirata-san removed the remaining glue from the BS primary and secondary prisms, as well as the prisms removed from the PR hanging test mirror. * Fabian designed an extra 600 g of trim masses for the IM and Hirata-san made drawings and ordered them. The design allows for the masses to be added even after the dummy optic and RM have been hung, so it should not delay work. * Type B ongoing issues * OSEMs * Akutsu-san is working to get wide-mouth OSEMs ([[http://klog.icrr.u-tokyo.ac.jp/osl/?r=1853|2 assembled]]; another few were assembled and a batch of 7 were washed. * Mark worked on the schedule, making the next few weeks more realistic and incorporating the new plan for the SR RMs (the test will be used for SR2 but two more will be made from scratch next financial year). * Longer cables for BF->PI and SF->PI. * Connectors RECEIVED, cables being made. * SR machining test NEARLY DONE. === Type B (Mark) === ==== Past week report ==== At Kamioka (Mark, Ohishi-san, Enzo, Hirata-san, Yoshioka-kun): * We moved or covered stuff in the BS cleanbooth to prepare for the SR2 crane slot cutting and BS-> SR2 assembly frame move. * We put the service port covers back on at the BF level of the BS tank. * We used the PI jacks to center the bottom of the security structure around the RM. * We debugged a mechanical issue where the #2 IP LVDT had too narrow a gap between the moving and fixed parts, so that there was interference with only a very small clockwise yaw of the IP. We fixed it by moving the bottom baseplate (taking advantage of the fact that it was held by screws in oversize holes for this purpose). * We used the IP FRs to center the IP. * We set the gains on the IP LVDT driver. * We tested the picos and most of the steppers. The picos and IP steppers all work nicely. The PI FR and yaw steppers have jamming issues. We haven't tested the BF and SF FR steppers. * We debugged an issue with one of the geophones (#1) which has a DC offset. We did cable swaps and determined that the issue is internal to the geophone pod. A second geophone (#2) saturates at a suspiciously small voltage on the negative side. Again the issue is internal. At Kamioka (Mark, Ohishi-san, Enzo, Hirata-san, Yoshioka-kun):
