* Type B Past Week Summary
  * Akutsu-san provided a set of cleanroom gear (shoes only slightly too tight!) for use by Mark this week. And Sakamoto-san sent another set from Kamioka to Kashiwa.
  * The RM, IM and IRM were weighed, and wrapped/packed for shipment to Kamioka.
  * Mark made a checklist of all the parts of the BS mirror box and gluing jig, to help with collecting the parts from Kashiwa.
  * Hirata-san removed the remaining glue from the BS primary and secondary prisms, as well as the prisms removed from the PR hanging test mirror.
  * Fabian designed an extra 600 g of trim masses for the IM and Hirata-san made drawings and ordered them. The design allows for the masses to be added to the IM even after it has been placed in the assembly frame and the dummy optic and RM have been hung, so it should not delay work.
 * Type B ongoing issues
  * OSEMs
   * Akutsu-san is working to get wide-mouth OSEMs (2 assembled; another few were assembled and a batch of 7 were washed.
   * Mark worked on the schedule, making the next few weeks more realistic and incorporating the new plan for the SR RMs (the test will be used for SR2 but two more will be made from scratch next financial year).
  * Longer cables for BF->PI and SF->PI.
   * Connectors RECEIVED, cables being made.
  * SR machining test NEARLY DONE. The part looks good and will be used but the ones for SR3 and SRM will be made from scratch.
  * Lower breadboard stuff
   * Installation to be incorporated into the procedure document. Mark/Takahashi to discuss.
   * Breadboard springs - RECEIVED.
  * Documents
   * BS Assembly Procedure E1504235, E1504235 draft
 * To-do list during Mark's vacation
  * Weigh IM/RM/IRM (Fabian, Hirata) - DONE but anomalies found.
  * Pack/ship IM/RM/IRM to Kamioka (Hirata/Fabian) - from 8/1.
  * Analyze geophone data (Fabian/Shoda) - data taken by Shoda-san; Fabian to find calibration factors.
  * Remove glue from dummy BS face (Fabian) - MOSTLY DONE.
  * Reglue flags and prisms (Tatsumi, Fabian) - from Friday 8/5.
  * Clean wire for BS and RM (Hirata) - DONE
  * Get new winch parts for new wire diameters - design received from Ikenoue-san
  * Do fit/function test of winches (Fabian/Hirata)
  * Ship winches to Kamioka (Hirata/Fabian)
  * Work on BS simulation (Fabian)
  * Do Inventor assembly for SR2 in chamber and on assembly frame (Hirata) - ONGOING.
  * Write more of payload assembly procedure (Fabian)
  * Write more of main assembly procedure (Mark)
 * Longer term to-do list
  * Do BS Simulink model (Mark, Kokeyama)
  * Do 2D drawings of SR2 parts (Hirata)
  * Redesign SRx IM wire clamps for larger prisms, remachined RMs.
  * Order SRM/PRM parts (Hirata/Shoda)
  * Order SRx fasteners (Hirata)
Type B (Mark)
Past week report
At Kamioka (Mark, Fabian, Enzo, Perry, Hirata-san):
 * We set things up again after the floor coating work.
 * We moved the PI into the second floor of the cleanbooth:
  * We cleared a path for the forklift (moving the portable cleanroom, worktable, power cables, vacuum pumps and other obstacles).
  * We got Saito-sensei to move the PI to the +Y side of the cleanbooth.
  * We washed and cling-wrapped a pallet.
  * We got Miyoki-san to disconnect the cables and curtain blocking the crane slot (and reconnect them afterwards).
  * We added some temporary crossbars in the top of the assembly frame and stored the SF cap on them to get it out of the way.
  * We craned in the pallet and set it up to bridge three floor joists.
  * We craned in the PI using Saito-san's adapter.
   * We couldn't find the original screws for the three PI transport plates so we substituted some others - fortunately there was no galling.
   * We had to connect the adapter to the crane with a sling because the ring for the hook was slightly too small).
 * We did a lot of cabling work:
  * We routed all the BF cables over the BF cap, up through the cable clamp on the SF-BF rod and up to the SF. (We had to redo a few because the Type 3 cable was at the flange end instead of the Type 1.)
  * We connected up the SF LVDT and FR stepper.
  * We started on rebalancing the BF (which had been perturbed by the weight and tension of all the cables). We got it rather better, but it needs more work.
  * We made another batch of anti-feedthrough adapters.

Plan for coming weeks
For more detail, see KAGRA/Subgroups/VIS/TypeB/ToDo.

Week of 4/10:
 * Hirata-san does scissor lift training 4/10.
 * Perry in Tokyo 4/10.
 * Debug/fix dead OSEM channel, TM-H4.
 * Debug BF/SF LVDTs.
 * Adjust BF pitch/roll.
 * Do TF from SF LVDT actuation.
 * Install temporary ballast mass in SF.
 * Lift SF/BF/... section and check total weight and SF balance.
 * Continue swap of PI LVDT connectors (female->male)
 * Start preparing LBB spring units.
 * Install pico drivers in rack, create MEDM interface (with Miyo-kun), and undo temporary connection of picos to old controller and joystick.
Week of 4/17:
 * Crane in PI.
 * Connect SF/BF... section.
 * Temporarily remove PI and adjust SF ballast if necessary.
