| * Type B Past Week Summary * Akutsu-san provided a set of cleanroom gear (shoes only slightly too tight!) for use by Mark this week. And Sakamoto-san sent another set from Kamioka to Kashiwa. * The RM, IM and IRM were weighed, and wrapped/packed for shipment to Kamioka. * Mark made a checklist of all the parts of the BS mirror box and gluing jig, to help with collecting the parts from Kashiwa. * Hirata-san removed the remaining glue from the BS primary and secondary prisms, as well as the prisms removed from the PR hanging test mirror. * Fabian designed an extra 600 g of trim masses for the IM and Hirata-san made drawings and ordered them. The design allows for the masses to be added to the IM even after it has been placed in the assembly frame and the dummy optic and RM have been hung, so it should not delay work. * Type B ongoing issues * OSEMs * Akutsu-san is working to get wide-mouth OSEMs ([[http://klog.icrr.u-tokyo.ac.jp/osl/?r=1853|2 assembled]]; another few were assembled and a batch of 7 were washed. * Mark worked on the schedule, making the next few weeks more realistic and incorporating the new plan for the SR RMs (the test will be used for SR2 but two more will be made from scratch next financial year). * Longer cables for BF->PI and SF->PI. * Connectors RECEIVED, cables being made. * SR machining test NEARLY DONE. === Type B (Mark) === ==== Past week report ==== At Kamioka (Mark, Enzo, Yoshioka-kun): * We experimented with rearranging the arc weights to accommodate the magic wands and came up with a suitable scheme. * We used spare arc weights as extra ballast on the LBB to get it to float, and measured the height for a known load. * We put the blocks back under the LBB and unhooked it. * We moved the suspension from the tank back to the assembly frame. * We craned the LBB rings down onto the LBB but did not remove them yet. (This however is the last crane work in the tank until reinstallation, so the lid does not have to come off again and the pallet can be used for the PI.) * We put the crossbars back in the assembly frame underneath the SF and BF (and corrected an error in the height of the BF ones). * Enzo started setting up the SR3 rack (with help from Yamamoto-san). * We received the real BS optic and gluing tools, and glued the disks and rods into the modified magnet jigs. We also tried the re-made secondary prisms in the gluing jigs and made shims to hold them more securely.
