  * Fabian, Mark and Liu-kun did BS installation at Kamioka:
   * Built up the security structure to the ring below the BF.
   * Adjusted the crossbeams below the BF and installed the jacks and pushrods to support the BF.

   * Took TFs from L and P actuation at the RM to all DOFs at the BS. (Y actuation still to be done.)
  * Hirata-san:

  * Mark added the DIO card to a draft of the BS electronics diagram, D1503600. At first it appeared that the pinouts of the LPCD DIO connectors were completely incompatible with the DIO card cables, but it turns out (according to Miyakawa) that the LPCD chassis has a secret interface board (JGW-D1504332) not shown in the chassis drawing which should make everything work.

  * Do Inventor assembly for SRx in chamber and on assembly frame (Hirata) - SR2/SR3 DONE, SRM ongoing.
   * Part "disk security" top has to be modified - screw positions do not match.

 * We lubricated the stuck screw at the top of the security structure with stuck and were able to remove it.
 * Enzo disconnected and removed or coiled many in-vac cables at the PI level to free it.
 * We craned the PI. There was a minor safety incident - see below.
 * Hirata-san set up the filter service area, and we moved in a BF intended for one of the SRs (BF#3).
 * Fabian and Hirata-san worked out a method for characterizing a single spring, and Fabian finished characterizing the first one.
 * We did a big tidy-up and clean-up of the area, especially the corner where we intended to do the gluing.
 * We set up the BS gluing jigs and applied the glue. We will check the results on Monday.

Past week report

At Kamioka (Mark, Enzo, Hirata-san, Yoshioka-kun):

  • We lubricated the stuck screw at the top of the security structure with stuck and were able to remove it.
