 * Type B Past Week Summary
  * Fabian, Mark and Liu-kun did BS installation at Kamioka:
   * Replaced the thrust bearing in the BF with a stainless version. While replacing the picomotor spring, they found several issues with screws.
   * Removed the sheet metal cable clamp on the bottom of the BF and installed a redesigned one.
   * They installed the "flying saucer" cable clamp on the maraging rod between the IM and BF, and attached the cables. There was an issue with the cables from the bottom OSEMs, which are too short by about 300 mm.
   * Ruspended the IM. Relative to the mass budget, about 700 g of trim mass had to be taken off to get good balance. There was also a problem with rubbing. It turned out that the keystone and the attached central PEEK coil former for the LVDT were at an angle, and the inside of the coil former was fouling on the outside of the pole piece for the magnets. It's not yet clear why the keystone was misaligned.
  * Hirata-san:
   * Made drawings of (revised) stub flag gluing jigs.
   * Worked on BS full-assembly drawings for Saito-sensei.
   * (For other groups)
    * Made a 3D model of maraging wires.
    * Finished making drawings of PRM inner frame.
    * Worked on re-setting up PC after crash.
 * Longer term to-do list
  * Do Inventor assembly for SRx in chamber and on assembly frame (Hirata) - SR2/SR3 DONE, SRM ongoing.
   * Part "disk security" top has to be modified - screw positions do not match.
  * Write more of payload assembly procedure (Fabian) - ONGOING
  * Write more of BS Assembly Procedure [[http://gwdoc.icrr.u-tokyo.ac.jp/cgi-bin/private/DocDB/ShowDocument?docid=4235| E1504235]], [[https://onedrive.live.com/redir?resid=D5CCFA70A378E0D0!195&authkey=!AM_usynuo9QI57g&ithint=folder,webloc|E1504235 draft]] (Mark) - ONGOING
  * Lower breadboard installation to be incorporated into the procedure document.
  * Work on BS simulation (Fabian)
  * Do 2D drawings of SR2 parts (Hirata)
  * Redesign SRx IM wire clamps for larger prisms, remachined RMs
  * Order SRM/PRM parts (Hirata/Shoda)
  * Order SRx fasteners (Hirata)

==== Past week report ====
At Kamioka (Mark, Enzo, Hirata-san, Yoshioka-kun):
 * We disassembled the suspension.
  * We removed all the cables and bagged and labelled them for reuse.
  * The PI is parked on the pallet.
  * The SF was initially parked between the frame and tank and then manhandled to one side. The same procedure was used for the SF ring.
  * The BF was parked between the assembly frame and tank. The BF ring was stored in the top of the structure.
  * We removed various useful and no-longer-needed items from the BF, including the lower rod receptacle, thrust bearing, fishing rod and temporary ballast masses.
  * We cut the wires and removed the RM and dummy BS on the RM trolley.
 * The wire clamps were moderately deeply scarred and could probably be reused, but we plan to use the new set, which will be available on Tuesday of next week.
 * We discovered that the problem with the old BF was due to the fishing rod, which had not had a pair of lock nuts and had been damaged by being drive too high, so that the springs hit the underside of the cap and were bent at the base. We will install lock nuts and set them to the correct height for the final installation.
 * The gluing of the BS primary prisms and magnets went well, but we had to reglue the secondary prisms because they stuck to the jigs and were pulled off when the jigs were retracted. The second try went well and the BS is ready for use.
 * Fabian and Hirata-san characterized 7 new BS BF blades. There was one outlier but the rest were in a tight group.
 * Hirata-san used 3 of the blades to build a new BF.
 * Miyo-kun and others from the Type Bp team did a lot of tidying up of the BS rack for us, and removed a lot of in-air cables running through the cleanbooth. When he returns, on 8/8, Enzo will coordinate relaying the cables in the cable trays (which were not installed when the initial cabling was done).
