../ToDoOld

Every Week

Facilities

  • Vacuum and roll floor.
  • Wipe ladders.
  • Tidy tools, parts.

2017-05-15

Facilities

  • Clear spaces for PR2 bellows work and SR2 ladder installation on 5/15.

  • Fix safety bar on -X side of assembly frame (move to other side of pillars and attach more securely).

Design/Purchasing

  • Order longer threaded rods for arc weights on PI.
  • Design, order modifications to LBB blade springs.
  • Get more UHV foil.
  • Get more cable ties.
  • Get more duckboards.

Main Assembly

  • Secure arc weights with M8 nuts.

  • Remove PI.

  • Unjam PI-SF rod.

  • Remove SF cap.

  • Remove blades from LBB blade units and send off for rework.

  • Install remaining cable clamps on PI.
  • Remove one Cu damper segment from SF cap and reconfigure remaining two to be symmetrical.

  • Decide pattern of SF damper ring magnets (72 pieces in 2/3 of the original ring).

  • Install magnets on SF damper ring.

  • Lift PI and hang LBB damper ring.
  • Crane PI back in.
  • Install rod, this time with hex cable clamp.
  • Re-hook SF/... section.
  • Install geophones.

Electronics

  • Debug and calibrate SF LVDT.
  • Debug stepper motors.
  • Put connector on PI vertical LVDT wires per E1503600-v13 Sheet 5.
  • Make PI vertical/yaw stepper in-air adapter cable per E1503600-v13 Sheet 7.
  • Make (in-air) geophone unscrambler cables per E1503600-v13 Sheet 8.
  • Complete cabling of PI stuff (steppers, LVDTs, geophones) through to rack and test.
  • Review cable spreadsheet; send to Sato-san.
  • Make table of ADC/DAC assignments and check for consistency with D1503600 and k1visbs (Enzo, Mark)

Real-time and SUMCON models

  • Understand/document/debug Kokeyama-san's DIO stuff.
  • Measure LPCD and HPCD output filter response.
  • Design and install software compensation filters for LPCD and HPCD output filters.
  • Design and install GAS drift compensation filters.
  • Create a proper DAC Monitor MEDM screen.
  • Improve ADC Monitor MEDM screen.
