Schedule

• Schedule Plan (Aso)

  • Latest schedule chart

  • Control test: are the transfer function measurements necessary ?
    • Remote measurement is a possibility.

    • Change "control test" -> "signal checking" (not including TF measurement)

    • We need to come up with a way to make the working hour longer (two teams taking shifts ?)

PR

• Test Hanging Status (Shoda)
  • Galled screws (Takahashi)
    • Galled screw was cut.
    • Another screws almost galled, but we were able to remove them.
    • By using turn backles, we lifted the security interface plate horizontall and were able to put the screw without galling.
• Production of new EQ stop screws (Takahashi)
  • Need to make new EQ stop rods because of the screw galling.
  • We had 6 sets. Now we lost 1set. We need 4 sets for iKAGRA. No need to hurry up in producing them.
• Digital system (Shoda, Okutomi, Fujii)
  • A simple model with only one filter is available
  • Sattelite box and coil drivers are ready
  • Need to check the OSEM (Tue)

  • Where to put the satellite box ? Grounding ? -> Mark

  • Digital system preparation (confirm that the model works) -> Okutomi

• Cleaning of the chamber (Okutomi)

  • Will consider to out source. Aso will talk with Saito-san.

• Cable status (Takahashi)
  • 1st set will be delivered in the next Monday.
  • 2nd set at the end of the next week
  • Remaining ones in the following weeks.

  • Call for shift for cable checking ? Need to establish the checking procedure first. Then call for shift (Takahashi)

• Additional PR mirror box (Tatsumi)
  • Order was placed.
  • Delivery before 1st Dec.
• Production of additional PR winches (Akutsu)
  • Ordered all the parts. Delivery before 1st Dec.

  • Assembly work needs to be scheduled

• PR Optical Bench (Akutsu)
  • Ordered the required screws. Delivery in 10 days.
  • Height adjustment will be done at the time as the preparation work for PR3 installation.
• RM compensation mass: do we have enough of them ? (Fabian)
  • Having some problem with screw model in CAD (density was wrong). Hirata-san is fixing it.

  • We should order compensation masses with various thickness (Takahashi)

  • Lock nuts may have to be changed to cope with the changed length of the EQ stop screws. -> probably this is not so important.

• RM EQ stop screw position (Akutsu, Shoda)
  • A stop screw will penetrate an opening in the RM.

  • Hirata-san will check if we can move the screw holes up or down to solve the problem.

• Next week (from 11/9) plan (Aso)

BS

• BS Assembly Frame Design (Aso, Hirata)

  • We need to discuss the IM alignment mechanism for hanging frame part -> Change the scews to ball point ones: Takahashi-san already bought them.

  • Since the frame is very tall, we need a step or intermediate height floor safe work. Mark will give us prefered height

    -> Mark will send us the drawing with possible step heights.

• BS magnet size (Michimura)
  • Recomendation from the special meeting: reduce the size of the magnet by a factor of 30.
  • Paired magnets for reducing the magnetic field noise

  • IM magnet size: needs to be checked -> Shimoda, Michimura

• BS gluing jigs (Tatsumi)
  • We haven't placed order yet. But the company has started some manufacturing.
  • Can we wait 10 days for order until we have the thermal noise result ?
• Not enough crane height problem (Hirata, Saito)
  • There seems to be some solution.
  • Asked Saito-san to give us the plan.
• IP Base Clamp (Fabian)

  • Fabian will send a new version soon (by the end of the week)

• BS clean bag (Aso)

  • Will design it soon as the size of the assembly frame is almost fixed

Other

• Screw inventory (Ishizaki)
  • Ishizaki-san came to Kamioka to make an inventory of the screws we have.
  • Print out the inventory. Check when you use screws.
• PR suspension model checking (Hirata, Akutsu)
  • EQ stop part is finished
  • Started working on the payload part
• Watch dog system (Tanaka)
  • Got a new document from Tanaka-san
• Clean suits (Aso)
  • Asked Miyoki-san to order many
• ETM installation procedure (Takahashi)

  • Will have a discussion next week

• Magnetism of the OSEM screw (Akutsu)

  • Sekiguchi-kun pointed out a possible problem with magnetism of the screws around OSEM. -> Check with Sekiguchi-kun

• GAS blade inspection by Virgo (Takahashi)
  • Waiting for more information (mostly shipping info) from Ando-san
• Safety at the site (Takahashi, Ishizaki)
  • Hirose-san will prepare a clean cloth to be put under the 2F floor to catch fallen items.
