PR

• Test Hanging Status (Takahashi)
  • Payload weight issue (Takahashi)
    • Need larger than expected additional mass (4.5kg) to balance the GAS filter. The total measured weight was 53kg while the optimal weight measured at the time of the assembly was 51kg.

    • Checked the weight of the IM and RM for PR2 -> consistent with the CAD model

    • ATC people checked the masses used for the tuning. They seem to be fine.

    • We are now using the BF#2, which has the optimal load of 51kg. BF#1 has the optimal load of 53kg -> Did we mistake BF#1 for BF#2 ?

    • We have 4 BFs at the ATC. Should check the optimal load of those BFs to confirm which one is which. Assignment needs to be done.

  • Hexagonal cable clamp to be put on the IM hanging wire.

    • We need to find this piece before hanging IM. Fabian will try to find it -> could not find it.

    • We will proceed without this clamp for the test hanging.
  • OSEM check (Shoda)
    • Checked the OSEM signals using the KAGRA satellite box.
    • 4 TM OSEMs are now working and connected to the digital system.
  • Digital system (Okutomi, Fujii)
    • Trying to improve the template model made by Kokeyama-san
    • Need it when we check the signals outside the chamber
• Cable status (Takahashi)
  • Delivery last tuesday: flat cables for 1 suspension, micro-D cables for 1 suspension.

  • Cables for hanging tests: we have everything ? -> Takahashi-san will make a table of cables in Wiki.

  • Cable checking: call for shift for corrected cables. Need to make micro-D checker. For hanging test cables, we will do a quick check at the site before using it.

• Clean work procedure (Takahashi, Hirose)
  • Can we remove the first contact inside the vacuum chamber ? Probably yes.
  • Since we will have another PR mirror box delivered by Dec 1st, we should be able to start PR2 at the same time as PR3
  • How to use the COACH filter: Hirose-san want to check the particle counts when people are working.
  • Hirose-san also wants to measure the particle counts when the ceiling is open for crane work.
• PR CAD model and assembly drawings (Hirata)
  • Payload part is done. Updated the TM OSEM.
  • Working on the BF part.

  • 3 days to complete.

• Production of additional PR winches (Akutsu)
  • Ikenoue-san gave us updated parts list: Will order soon.

  • Requested delivery date from VIS is Dec. 21st. -> Will discuss with ATC people on how to test the winches.

• PR Optical Bench (Akutsu)
  • Screws: still waiting for the delivery.
• RM compensation mass: do we have enough of them ? (Fabian)

  • Having some problem with screw model in CAD (density was wrong). -> Got new screw files from Hirata-san. To check on Monday.

  • We should order compensation masses with various thickness (Takahashi) -> No yet ordered: Takahashi-san will order them within the next week.

• RM EQ stop screw position (Hirata)

  • Hirata-san will make a drawing by Monday.

  • Akutsu-kun will ask ATC to make tapped holes by Friday for 1set.

  • Remaining ones should be ordered to an outside company: assigned to Takahashi

    • Mon: Prepare the balast weight. Hang the IM again.

BS

• BS Assembly Frame Design (Aso, Hirata)
  • The current model is mostly ready

  • Hirata-san will incorporate Tatsumi-san's BS mirror box design into the CAD model

  • Will have a meeting with Mirapro on 20

• BS magnet size (Michimura)
  • TM magnet size: 2mm x 3mm

  • IM magnet size: -> 1/3 to 1/10 of the current design (Shimoda report).

  • Who will design the new flag: Mark and Fabian will discuss it at Kamioka in the next week. Especially the paird magnet configuration.

• BS gluing jigs (Tatsumi)
  • BS will be ordered soon.
• Not enough crane height problem (Hirata, Saito)
  • Raise the ceiling of the BS clean booth, by the end of Nov.

  • Saito-san will inform us when the PR2 area is available.

• IP Base Clamp (Fabian)

  • Will make a new version with Shoda-san's suggestion by Tuesday (11/17)

• Bread board springs (Takahashi)
  • Fix the design after the IP base clamp design is fixed.

  • We need to make 2D drawings. Ask Hirata-san as the next task (after finishing the current tasks)

• BS clean bag (Aso)
  • Not yet done.

ETM

• Installation procedure (Takahashi)
  • Had discussions with people (Hirata, Takahashi, Aso, Saito, Uchiyama)

  • Hirata-san will visualize the concept before the next VIS meeting.
