• Test Hanging Status (Takahashi)
  • Suspension was dumped into the chamber: the hook of a turn backle came off while slowly sitting the suspension into the chamber. The entire chain dropped by about 1cm. With this shock, at least 1 OSEM flag in IM was broken.
  • LVDT driver: The one used at first had a broken IC. Replaced with a new board and it worked. Need to set the gains properly. Will put information into the corresponding DCC documents.
  • Picomotor connection: Worked fine.
  • Fishing rod motor: Worked fine. Pin-extracter was delivered. So the damaged vacuum compatible cable can be fixed.
  • While lowering the jacks on the inner frame, some of them seemed to have galled.
• How to sit the suspension to the inner frame ?
  • Lift up the suspension. Remove the galled jacks.
    • Inspect the removed jacks.
  • Put new jacks.
  • Try to sit the suspension usign turn backles.
    • Use 4 slings instead of 2.
    • Carefully level the top plate.
• PR2 Status (Mark, Fabian)
  • Finding screws and parts.
  • Cleaned some parts.
  • What can we do before the PR2 arrives
    • RM assembly
    • Traverser assembly
    • Preparation of the flags
      • Sand the Ni-plating on the magnets before gluing to increase the adhesion ?

      • Need to order spare flag bases: 6 of them (Takahashi)

• Location of the EQ stop pillars (Takahashi)

  • Takahashi will tell Hirata the proper locations of the pillars.

• Digital System (Okutomi, Fujii)
  • The model is almost completed.
  • Now the digital system is working. We were able to measure transfer functions.
• BF Optimal Weight (Takahashi)

  • Check the optimal load for the ETM BFs at the ATC: Need to be done before the end of Jan. Arrange with ATC people (Takahashi)

  • Balast mass design: Takahashi will check the design during the weekend and give (not give) an approval before Monday.

  • Fabian will give the design to Hirata-san on Monday.
• Traverser actuation check (Shoda)
  • Now we may move the traverser in the air a little bit.
  • Will test it at some point.
• Traverser stop mechanism
  • Procurement status (Takahashi): Parts were ordered. Should arrive in one week.
• Clean work procedure

  • Need to check with Miyoki-san when the clean suits will be delivered (Aso).

  • Ask Hirose-san about better wiping cloths (Aso).

  • Other clean supplies: masks,

  • KAGRA should have a special meeting for clean requirements: Aso had a meeting with Saito-san and Hirose-san. But the meeting was interrupted by a car accident. Will propose another meeting (Aso).

  • Blowing the suspension in the assembly frame -> Need to pre-arrange the schedule with other groups.

• PR CAD model and assembly drawings (Hirata)

  • Need to give the rotation angle of the traverser top plate (Aso)

• Cable status (Takahashi)
  • All the cables except for two cables were delivered.
    • Need to send more PTFE cable to finish the remaining two.
    • Need to send the cables used for the test hanging once it is finshed.

  • Made a cable list -> Put a link to the excel file on Wiki. Takahashi will improve the table.

• Cable check
  • 70% done.

  • One cable found to be broken. Will send it back to the company (Takahashi).

• Call for shift for assembly help (Takahashi)
  • Made a call for shift for helping the installation works
  • No application so far
• PR2 gluing schedule (Tatsumi)
  • PR2 wire breakers have cracks
  • PR3 ones have no crack. PR3 was transported to Kamioka
  • Use SUS wire breakers for iKAGRA mirrors ?
    • PRC mirrors will not suffer from the thermal noise
    • For SRC mirrors, we should test the sapphire wire breakers more carefully
  • Removal of the wire breakers

    • Mark will ask LIGO people about the procedure

• Wire cleaning
  • Damaged one wire

  • Hirata will order 20m more wires.

  • Will wash Tungsten wires too, but not yet delivered.

  • What is the weight each drum should support -> Shoda will calculate

  • What is the wire diameter to be tested? -> 650um: Takahashi ordered 600um and 650um already. Will give 1m to ATC for the test. Takahashi will order some extra for 650um.

• RM compensation mass

  • Design status (Fabian): Do it later.

  • Order status (Takahashi): Delivered. Hirata washed and sent them to Kamioka.

  • Need to buy screws for fixing the compensation masses. Takahashi will check the lengths of screws.

• RM EQ stop screw position (Takahashi)
  • Out sourcing: 6 sets delivered washed and sent to Kamioka. Now we have all needed.
• PR Optical Bench (Akutsu)
  • For PR2, we do need to raise the optical bench.
    • Delivery date for the screws: Dec. 21
    • PR2 vacuum installation will be Jan. 19
• OSEM assembly status (Akutsu)

  • OSEM screw length issue
    • We have a lot of M5x20 BUMAX screws

    • Do we need to use longer ones ? -> Shoda will check with the actual test mass RM

• RM production (Takahashi)

  • What to do with the dirty RMs ?: Check with ATC if re-polishing the rough surface is possible or not (Takahashi)

• Test hanging vacuum installation
  • What needs to be done when the suspension is inside the chamber ?

    • Peel off the first contact first -> Done

    • TF: G&M 276kg, TAMA: 278kg

  • No obvious reason to distrust G&M's measurements

  • Should consider in-situ measurement procedure of the optimal load during the installation of Type-A
