• Three big categories of the tasks

  • Type-A: Takahashi-> Make a task list

  • Type-B (BS and SRC) : Mark-> Make a task list

  • Type-Bp modification: (Shoda ?)
• Any possibility of increasing the man power ?
  • Start from task lists and count number of people necessary people

• Allocate budget to each task leader ? -> Yes

  • Dismounted the spare mirror.
  • Dismouted the top plate with traverser.

  • Found some dusts on the PR3. Waiting for Hirose-san's comment.

• #The frame for the clean bag is bent. We cannot remove the nut. Probably we need to cut the rod once we take the suspension out of the chamber. Need to prepare a replacement rod (Aso)

  • #Signal generators for LVDTs (Aso) -> Ordered. Will be delivered very soon.

  • #Serial-Ethernet converter: 7 more (Shoda) -> Ishizaki-san ordered them. Delivery 1/14.

  • Traverser motor driver (Shoda) -> Will discuss Uraguchi-san. Need a box for stepping motor driver. -> These are for PR2. Will be ordered sometime.

  • #Turn backles (bigger and eye). Smaller shackles. (Aso) -> Ishizaki-san ordered. Delivery may be 1/18

Electronics

• What are necessary in the next few weeks ?
• Electronics diagram and review

  • A diagram from Shoda

  • Mark will make overview diagrams of VIS electronics

• LVDT Distributor problem
  • Connector for the coil driver input is D9 whereas the output from the HP coil driver is D15.
  • Discussed at the AEL meeting on 1/12
    • As a temporary measure, we will make a conversion cable from D15 to D9
    • For the long term measure, AEL is considering to order such cables to a company with a proper care of pin 5.

  • Need to send more PTFE cable to finish the remaining two -> Will do it in the next week

  • Need to send the cables used for the test hanging once it is finished. -> Will send them once the test hanging is disassembled.

  • #One cable found to be broken. Will send it back to the company -> not yet. Send it together with the other cable related items.

  • We may not be able to buy blades in this FY. -> WIll check with the company (Takahashi)

  • Stepping motors and other components can be purchased within this FY.
• Type-A Filters Optimal Load Measurements

  • Takahashi will make a plan for the optimal load check and ask ATC.-> Will make one in the next week.

  • #How to manufacture the long maraging wires ?
    • One prototype was machined by Ojima

    • Aoshima can do the heat treatment for the long rod. Will ask them soon (Takahashi) -> Still waiting for a quotation.

    • How to test it ?
      • We can use the prototype assembly frame in TAMA.

  • Many people need to contribute to the document. However, we need one person responsible for the consistency of the document.
