Past week report

Installation in Y-end:

29th(Mon)

• Tuned the TF roughly.25kg weight was necessary to obtain the optimal load.
• Installed the SF damper. The shield plate was fliped.
• Dropped the head part of jack for the PI (accident).

30th(Tue)

• Lifted up the EQ stop to take the dropped part.
• Mounted Cu plates (~20kg) onto the F1.
• Tuned the TF again. 6.7kg ballast weight was added.
• Suspended the SF damper.

31st(Wed)

• Applied cabling between the F1 and the TF.

1st(Thu)

• Continued cabling. Repaired some broken cables.
• Checked the motion of stepping motors.

2nd(Fri)

• Calibrated the LVDT for TF.

Plan for coming weeks

• Lift down the top plate to the frame lock.
• Set the PI in the chamber.

Past week report

• PR3 chamber closed. PR3 (almost) completed!!
  • We finalized the cabling. Miyo-kun is still working on networking the motors, and BIO.
  • We closed the chamber.
  • We moved some parts, tools, a desk, a rack to PR2 clean booth.
• Preparation for PR2 assembly is on going.
  • 2nd floor next to the assembly frame was closed.
  • Optical bench intermediate ring and damper ring are set inside the chamber.
• PR2 flags are close to be detached hopefully.

• Set assembly frame
• Set the IM and the slider on the assembly frame
• Prepare circuits for PR2/PRM
• BF LVDT calibration

• Type-C magnet fixture jig retrofitting:

  • Uploaded Parts_list and drawings to KAGRA Dropbox

  • Sent draft drawings to FCL.
