Past week report

  • Finished the cabling between the BF and F3.
  • Tuned the F3 again with hanging the F3 by crane.
  • Final optimal load was additionally 1.2kg at 0.25Hz.
  • Removed the primary coils for the BF damper.
  • Checked cable connections and repaired some disconnections.
  • Started the installation of F2. Assembled the FR in the F2.

Plan for coming weeks

  • Measure the transfer functions of the BF and the F3.
  • Lift down the BF into the corrugate tube.
  • Extend the EQ stop for the F2.

[X-end]

  • Vent the chamber on 5th.
  • Remove the DP on 6th.
  • Install the maraging wire for Cryo-payload with cables on 7th.

Type B (Mark)

Report for week of 2/26

  • We routed all the cables from the BF level up via the flying saucer to the SF.
  • Hirata-san tried filing the SF cap to improve the fit, but without much success.
  • Hirata-san installed the Cu segments and cable clamps on the SF cap and the SF LVDT and FR cables.
  • We cabled and tested the BF cap picos and the SF LVDT and FR. (The LVDT still needs a full calibration.)
  • We worked on recovering the IM OSEM alignment.

Plan for week of 3/5

  • Shoda-san at Mitaka.
  • Hirata-san vacation Mon 3/5, then Kamioka

Past week report

  • Takahashi-san, Aso-san, Ohishi-san, and Miyo-kun checked the suspension height. But the height was not much changed. So SF weight was not changed. I checked the LVDT trend since the installation. There are some jumps after data taking errors, including blackouts. Details will be uploaded to klog later.
  • I prepared IP stepping motor med scripts. Actuation check is required.
  • PRM guardian has an error that I could not solve.
