Past week report

[Y-front]

• Calibrated the LVDT. The position of the secondary coil was shifted down by 4mm.
• Closed the cup of F3. Suspended the F3 by the crane with the filter chain.
• Tuned the F3 again. The tuned frequency was 0.24Hz.
• Cabled around the F3. Checked cable connection. Two disconnections were found and repaired.
• Fixed the additional weight on the BF.
• Swapped the primary coils to the dummy weight on the BF.
• Lifted down the EQ stop. The end plate for F3 was sit on the frame lock.
• Started the assembly of the end plate for F2.
• Embedded the FR in the F2.

[X-front]

• Embedded the magic wands to the TF. The support point was set closing to the keystone and the counter weight was set in the outer side to obtain large torque.
• The height of keystone was 20mm with a compression of 22mm. The frequency was still aroud 1Hz.
• Transported the hand lifters to the cross tube area.

Plan for coming weeks

• Setting of the F2 stage in Y-front.
• Dismount of the DP in X-front.
• Wiring between the cryo-payload and the BF in X-front.

  • Relocation of a power line pole (telephone pole) outside of the tunnel
  • A small possibility of accidental power outage
  • Shutdown all the VIS control in this period.
