 * Fabian and Terrence went through the process of oplev diagonalization for the purposes of knowledge transfer and procedure documentation.
  * There were small corrections to the procedure.
  * Terrence wrote the oplev section of the Type B paper.
  * Fabian began writing a rough draft of the procedure.
 * We went to the tunnel in order to improve the SR3 oplev air shield, which implied another round of diagonalization. The aim was to reduce the noise in the control loop after Izumi-san reported a peak at 1.4 Hz in the movement of the optic.
 * With the agreement of the comissioning team we decided to move the position of two oplev QPDs. When the optic was aligned they were away from linear range.
  * The affected ones were the SR2 tilt QPD, which had to be moved up, and the SR3 tilt QPD, which had to be moved up and to the left.
  * We took note of the oplev to IM DC control actuation, off-loaded the actuation onto the test channels and temporarily modified the watchdof thresold to avoid tripping of the payload.

Type-Bp (Shoda)

  • Checked the Traverser drivers work properly with Uraguchi-san's motors.
    • PR3 driver is alive from the beginning, and the PRM driver was not active since the switch of the PLC was in the wrong mode.
    • I changed the wire connection of the PR3 driver to have the same configuration with others. I will send the drivers with adapter cables for the PR3 to match the connection.

  • The modification parts have been delivered.
  • Pre-assembled the suspension with the modification parts.
  • Checked the mirror gluing jig at the site. Since the dimensions of mirror is different from the IMC ones, it is necessary to modify some spacers.
  • There are two stand-offs with sharp notch. No spare.
