Status

  • Replacement of Flip cable: EY on 11/17. EX on 11/25. IX on 11/26.

  • ACC: Installation to EX is scheduled on 11/24-25. Assembly for EY is ongoing. Actuator coil of H1 ACC for IY was replaced

Summary Report

Type-A

  • Recovered the F0 FR stuck in EX.
  • Confirmed the LVDT coefficients of GAS filters (BF, F3, F1) in EX.
  • Recalibrated the BF LVDT in IY.
  • Started the assembly of accelerometers in EY.
  • Replaced the flip cables.
  • Replaced the coil drivers for BFV from LPCD to HPCD in IY and EY.
  • Transported the accelerometers to EX.

Type-B

  • SR3
    • On Tuesday we checked an aparent problem we detected after installing the cable flip adapters: we were not able to measure the resistance of TM-H2 coil. We realized a gender bender was used inside of the chamber, with the effect of flipping the pins. We just connected the cable without the flip adapter using a non-flipping fake gender bender.
    • We detected that a pin of the F1 FR cable had a connection to the chamber (GND). This is likely the reason the FR is not working. It seems it would work using an stand-alone driver (not in klog yet).
    • On Friday we realigned the oplev according to the requirements of the green beam alignment.
  • BS
    • We replaced the original LVDT card for the three GAS filters as preparation for testing the converter from double-ended to single-ended output for the reference signal.
    • The new board had additional connections to improve the noise performance.
    • We measured the resistances in the old board and "copied" them onto the new board.
    • Then I adjusted the calibration factors and offsets in the medm screens using the old transfer functions as references.
    • This approach seemed to be successful for the BF but not for F0. We should calibrate F0 sometime next week.
    • We tested the converter from double-ended to single-ended output for the reference signal.
