• Two students from Niigata University is starting FINESSE simulations. Keiko is giving lectures once a week via Zoom.
• First step would be to make a simple shared FINESSE model without HOMs and confirm the model.
  • Keiko is making a DRFPMI FINESSE model independent from Somiya's model.
• Ideas to get Niigata students involved.
  • Make their own small projects which do not require speed.
  • Make a GUI for FINESSE simulation. Web browser based? Jupyter?
    • Involve Yuzurihara-kun and Shoda-san!
• Simulation projects once we are sure that the FINESSE model works fine.
  • Check if DRFPMI locking by slowly aligning SRM is feasible or not.
    • What are the impacts on the error signals (especially MICH) when SRC is swept from off-resonance (mis-aligned) to on-resonance (aligned)
  • Simulate the effect of birefringence (to LSC, ASC, laser noise couplings, recycling gain etc.)
  • AS mode content
  • Intensity/frequency noise coupling
