• Decisions

  • Increase the frequency of the simulation meeting to biweekly. Doodle the slot [Haoyu].
  • Ask Haoyu and other simulators to join the commissioning(integration) meeting on Wednesday 11:00.
  • Ask June Gyu the status of OMC model and may be ask him to join birefringence model development.
• Current simulation activities
  • GUI development by Koyama-kun. GUI will be useful for commissioners
  • IFO model by Kokeyama-san for simulating sensing matrix etc. Haoyu will take over.
  • OMC model by June Gyu to compare measured OMC scan results with the simulation. May be halted.
  • Birefringence model by Haoyu. Currently constructing the model. Freq noise coupling etc will be calculated once ready.
• Starting point of simulation useful for the site work.
  • Try to reproduce directly reflected beam from ITM at POP. Dirty shape from birefringence or clipping?
    • BS s/p reflectivity unbalance and polarization rotation from periscope etc. would change the shape of s/p beam shape.
    • Comparing the simulation result with POP s-pol/p-pol camera image is a starting point.
  • Big task will be to check ASC with birefringence included.
• Commissioning meeting on Wednesday 11:00 is useful for communication between on-site people and off-site people.
