From abroad to Tokyo or Osaka

You will arrive at Narita International airport (NRT, English) or Kansai International Airport (KIX, English). If you choose Narita (Tokyo), you will go to Toyama by train of airplane. If Kansai (Osaka), you will go to Toyama by train.

• After you arrive at Narita (Tokyo),

  • if you adopt train, you are going to center of Tokyo. There are two stations in Narita airport (Narita Airport station (Terminal 1) and Airport terminal 2 station). At both the stations, you take Narita Express (JR line, about 1 hour (3000Yen) to Tokyo station,English) or Skyliner (Keisei-line, about 40 minutes (2400 Yen) to Keisei Ueno station, English)

  • if you adopt airplane, you are going Haneda airport.

Please reserve your hotel by yourself ! We will NOT RESERVE hotel on behalf of you.

The best way is that you reserve hotel near Toyama station. There are a lot of hotels, shops and restaurants there. It takes about 20 minutes from Toyama station to University of Toyama by tram or car.

I am not so sure that staffs of hotels can speak English because I have never asked something at Japanese hotels in English. In some hotels, you can ask in English. But I am afraid that such hotels are expensive.

• ANA Crowne Plaza Toyama (Japanese,English). It is slightly far from Toyama station (15 minutes on foot).
