List of possible small upgrades

This is a list of possible small upgrades. Current KAGRA design is not optimal considering sensitivity, because of budget constraints, schedule, and lack of careful design.　Add items if you have things you want to change if you have enough time and money.

  • Fibers too long and we cannot cool mirror down to 20 K
  • Marionette magnets for actuator too small

  • Curvature of ITM/ETM
    • Currently RoC = 1.9 km, because we didn't have reference spheres
