General Description

The mode matching is one of the important step to construct an optical cavity. For KAGAR, the beam size will become about 10cm diameter, while there seems no commercial products that is able to measure such a large beam size. Thus we should develop such tool.

Functions

  • Measuring a spatial distribution of intensities of a laser beam.
  • Fitting the intensity distribution with theoretical Gaussian profile.
  • Average, Data extraction, etc, anything that are usually equipped to a usual beam profiler...

Locations

Anywhere in the initial alignment phase.
