General Description
The mode matching is one of the important step to construct an optical cavity. For KAGAR, the beam size will become about 10cm diameter, while there seems no commercial products that is able to measure such a large beam size. Thus we should develop such tool.
Functions
- Measuring a spatial distribution of intensities of a laser beam.
- Visualizing the measured data on site and remote in real time (LIVE view).
- Offering such functions that are usually equipped in commercial beam profilers. (fitting the intensity distribution with theoretical Gaussian profile, statistical processing and extracting the measured data)
Locations
Anywhere in the initial alignment phase.
