  • Shift Manual

    • In the control room, you can find an A4 printed sheet that contains access information on Miyoki, Uchiyama, Miyakawa, Ushiba, Kimura and R.takahashi.

  • Daily check items

    • Check Items

    • Copy "原紙" and rename it with your shift day.
    • At 10:00 and 16:00, check the vacuum, low temperature, water of compressors, and room temperature → enter into Check Items
    • If there is an abnormality, please contact the experts according to the information in column I.
    • Regular checks should also be performed on maintenance days.

  • If an emergency occurs, such as an alarm sounding, please follow the instructions below.

    • Please also contact PM(Miyoki),RC(T. Sawada), and CL(Ushiba) by slack to turn off OBS INTENT flag.

  • Submit observaton summary to k-log. Reference

  • Notification of Event Detection
    • When the L, H, and V detectors identify significant gravitational-wave detection candidates and corresponding significant alerts are issued, automated phone calls with synthesized voices are made to the control room (#2624). This allows shifters and operators to become aware of the candidate events in near real-time. However, no specific action is required in response to these notifications.

  • TeamSpeak Communication with LLO, LHO, and Virgo Control Rooms and Collaborators

    • TeamSpeak, the software used to communicate between the KAGRA control room and the control rooms at LLO, LHO, Virgo, or other members of the LVK collaboration, is installed on the control room PC along with Zoom. This TeamSpeak is configured so that when they speak to the KAGRA control room, their voices are played through the speakers. Please follow the instructions provided in the manual for its use.
