Procedure for requesting circuit production

  1. Submit a request form to JGWDoc: by each subgroup to AEL with following 3 items, and then please contact to AEL chief.

    1. Request form: T1402527

    2. Design of schematic diagram: by each subsystem
      • AEL may introduce existing schematic diagrams (EX.LIGO DCC)
    3. Design of PCB digram: by each subsystem or AEL
      • AEL may introduce existing PCB diagrams (EX.LIGO DCC)
  2. Discussions for design and schedule among subgroup and AEL members
    • Design of chassis and front/rear panels: by each subsystem or AEL
    • Agreement with the final design between AEL and subgroup with some detailed information ex. conectors, gender
    • Schedule for production
  3. Selection and order for electronic parts: by AEL
  4. Manufacturing boards: by AEL
  5. Soldering electronic parts: by AEL
  6. Manufacturing chassis: by AEL
  7. Assembling boards, connectors cables and etc. into chassis: by AEL
  8. Inspection: by each subsystem (or AEL)

  • Typically it takes 2 months to fix design and 3 more months for production. Please submit a request form at least five months before the date you want to receive productions.
  • When you submit a request form, please obtain a document number from JGWDoc with selection of the “Document Type” as “T” like T140XXXX using “Reserve Number” at top menu in each page of JGWDoc and fill necessary information.
  • If you make the same (or similar with small modifications) circuits you made before, please upload this request as a new version of the same document number.
  • Then please upload the request form to JGWDoc with schematic/PCB drawings(if possible) and tell AEL chief that you have uploaded a request form with the document number you obtained. Within a week, AEL group will contact you to discuss the detailed design and schedule for the production plan.
  • Additionally D number on JGWDoc will be obtained for a Top View diagram which shows chassis, panels, boards, connectors cables and connections among boards and panels. This D number will be a number of representation of the circuit and it will be put on the front panel, for example.
  • If you have any questions please contact AEL chief.
