- We compared the number of triggers between different Omicron versions (v4.1 and v3.1) in root/hds5/xml formats.
- Based on the reply from the developer, the Omicron (v3.1) had the bug. The developer recommends using the latest Omicron for the analysis.
Yuzurihara updated usage manual for v4.1 using the hdf5 format.
- Update for gates found in stochastic search (Chia-Hsuan)
- The gating with 3.5 s tme window was applied in pygwb when the large transient (IPC glitch) occurred. To mitigate the length losing by gating, it's better to usr the veto-definer.
- Uchikata-san have an experience on the veto-definer. She will try to prepare it.
- Currently they analyzed O4a data (L1, H1, K1) on CIT. But, the L1 and H1 data are stored in system-B(kmst2).
- Trigger generation for O4a data by pycbc (Narikawa)
- They showed the result of comparing the O4a triggers with the triggers computed by Gaussian noise (~5days). The discussion is underway.
- Hveto analysis (Syifa)
Analysis-flag change: https://hveto.readthedocs.io/_/downloads/en/stable/pdf/
- Glitch investigation (Chia-Jui)
- They explained how to apply the whitening: (1) estimate the ASD from the data of (tc-58)~(tc-2), (2) apply the whitening by using the estimated ASD
Based on their request, we shared the list of aux. channel which was used in O4a Hveto analysis in Summary page. git

- The histogram of the inspiral range changed. We can see the peak on the histogram.
- pyCBC trigger list for O4a data (Narikawa and Uchikata)
- They computed the triggers by using pycbc package from the strain data and packed in the xml.
- The analyzed data include the IPC glitches. But, the chi-square could mitigated the glitch effect.
(Yuzu) Did you find the interesting or new triggers? --> no. Data seems stable.
(YamaT) Can you compare the trigger histogram with the one from Gaussian noise data? --> not yet. It's possible by replacing the input data with the generated Gaussian noise.
- Glitch classification (Hsu Shih-Hong)
- They took the average of the Q-spectrograms for each class. The obvious common features were not observed.
- They tried to extract the common features on the Q-spectrograms.

In next JPS meeting(Sep.), YamaT plan to talk the detchat topics related to the web service (https://gwdet.icrr.u-tokyo.ac.jp/~controls/misc/html/).
- Issue of monopolizing the CPU resources of system-B cluster. (this might be the third time in my memory)
- Yuzurihara contacted the administrators to set some threshold or update the cluster settings so that the job submission system will manage the jobs submitted by many users effectively. Still no response from the administrators.
isotropic stochastic search result (Chia-Hsuan) slide
- They analyzed the O4a KAGRA data with other detectors by using the pygwb pipiline, at CIT cluster.
- They found the strange peak on the gating length. They shared the list of the gated time. The comparison between the list and the time of IPC glitches will be done soon.
They reported the coherence between KAGRA and LIGO (Livingston and Hanford). About the coherence of 960 and 961 Hz, yamaT pointed out that it came from the timing system. We use the same timing system between KAGRA and LIGO. See also alog.
- AI for detchar: Collect the information of the remaining frequencies with coherence
(YamaT) How did you integrate the data for narrow-line analysis? --> all of the science mode
- How was the gate process applied?
What is the good frequency band for the analysis? --> (YamaT) Comments from the calibration side: use 30~1000Hz.
Glitch classification (Chia-Jui) slide
- They reported the glitches detected in O4a data can be classified into several classes by using unsupervised classification.
Q-transform plots are available git.
- Yama-T commented on slack that the glitch effect might be widen by the whitening process.
- O4a summary page (Uchikata)
- We have decided to compute the inspiral range without the gwsumm. The computation is on-going.

- By changing cutoff frequency of 8 or 12Hz, they checked the Hveto results and found the artificial glitches around 10Hz.
- When they apply the HPF with 6 Hz or 4 Hz, the artificial glitches around 10Hz disappeared.
- (YamaT) Do you know the design of HPF (butterworth?)?
- (Uchikata) Minimum frequency of Hveto should be larger than the cutoff frequency of high pass filter in Omicron.
- (YamaT) It might make the ripple.
- (Yuzu) You can analysis the Omicron triggers with the higher cut-off frequency.
- Glitch analysis (Ishikawa)
(Chia-Jui) How do you set-up the Omicron configuration files? --> Same as commonly used one.
(Chia-Jui) What was the typical SNR of 300-500Hz? --> SNR 6~10? He didn't have a clear answer. He will check it.
- Glitch analysis (Chir-Jui)
- Omicron analysis without high pass filter was done.
- In page 7, there were gaps due to the exceed of threshold of glitch rate. At that time, Omicron failed due to the error.

1. Commissioning support : serving data monitoring tools for site commissioners. This task focuses on the support of the IFO lock trial and/or noise hunting based on the request from the interferometer commissioners. Support of analyses to measured data (e.g. noise projection to the DARM with measured noise and TFs) is also contained in this task. Specialized tasks for each subgroup should be applied for in the respective group task. 2. Production and validation of Online Data Quality State Vector (for O4b/O5 preparation. This task focusing on providing the online DetChar products such as the online DQSV and managing various reliable online flags. Developing real-time and guardian codes for providing such flags should be contained in this task. 3. Production and validation of Segment information for O4b/O5 preparation. This task focusing on providing low-latency/offline segments. Providing segment itself, evaluation of efficient channels to make segments, evaluating benefit of segments on GW searches and cooperation with CIT staffs to update segment contents on DQSEGDB are contained in this task. 4. Construction of DQR (Data Quality Report) and igwn-alert framework for O4b/O5 RRT activities. This task focusing on providing contents from KAGRA to DQR web pages which is merged with LIGO, Virgo and KAGRA. 5. Support of Data Analysis group to set Data Category criteria for O4b/O5 joint observing run. This task focusing on the support of the GW-search activities based on the each WG of DAC. Providing data category for the pipelines of each GW sources, providing veto segments and other noise information such as identified spectral lines are also contained in this task. 6. Managing DET computers and their environments. This task contains the computer environment construction for providing the DetChar products in the cadence of online/low-latency/offline. Managing dedicated servers for sharing DetChar products among LVK is also contained in this task. ===== - Noise hunting in KAGRA commissioning. Obsolescent Noise *hunting* without IFO (hardware) experts is unrealistic. In this meaning, the most of noise *hunting* can be covered in "Commissioning support”. If the tasks are related to the noise *finding* for the purpose of providing veto segment, they can be covered in “Support of Data Analysis”.
- hveto analysis is contained in 1. in the case that there is some communication with onsite commissioners via klog etc.
- It's also potentially contained in 5. in the case of providing veto-ed segments, correlated channels etc.
Providing Run SummaryPage is contained in 5.
- Exact sentence as "Making Run Summary" should be added the description in 5.
- hveto analysis is contained in 1. in the case that there is some communication with onsite commissioners via klog etc.

- (oshino) why the double bounce occurred?
- (yamaT) it's better to check both the feedback and error signal (OUT_DQ and IN1_DQ).
- (oshino) PD signal might be helpful in the investigation. In POP_FORWARD, the scattered light was seen in the past.
- Noise hunting by machine learning and Hveto (Kyujin, Kihyun, Syifa)
KAGRA O4a hveto results (0524 ~ 0606) KAGRA O4a hveto results (0607 ~ 0619)
- hveto shows the many triggers on the time the scattered light noise appeared
- (yamaT) IPC glitch was taken care in this analysis? It's better to use SCIENCE segment + IPC glitch segment.
- It is interesting to compare the glitch rate and the analysis result with and without IPC glitch segments.
- Yuzurihara shared that segment with Kihyun.

- They tested the conda environment and configuration files for the production of the summary page. Except for the specific short time, they can generated the O4a summary page including duty cycle and inspiral range.
- Generation of trigger list by pycbc (Narikawa)
- Code test is ongoing by using the short 4096s data of O4a. The timeseries of chi square looks strange. They plan to apply the high pass filter, instead of window function.
- (yamat) How do you decide clustering length?
- (Narikawa) By software injection, we can evaluate how the SNR spreads and determine the clustering length.
