Past week report

• Attached the additional FR blade to the BF.
• Needed some try and errors due to some problems (low Q, FR range, height of blade).
• Tuned the BF again. Optimal load was 197.1kg at 0.31Hz. The FR range was 7.5mm.
• Closed the cap of BF.
• Extended the EQ stop to the F3 stage.
• Lifted down the DP into the corrugate tube.
• Set the F3 onto the end plate. maraging wire was hooked to the receptacles.
• Tuned the F3 to 0.31Hz initially.
• The optimal load was changed by closing the cap and hunging the F3.
• Finally the frequency was 0.27Hz reducing the weight by 0.4kg.
• Checked the range of FR in F3. It was 13.5mm.
• Calibrated the LVDT in F3.
• Started cabling between the BF and the F3.

• Finish the cabling between the BF and the F3.
• Lift down the BF into the corrugate tube.
• Go to the F2 stage.

[Week of March 5]

• Vent the EXV chamber on 5th.
• Remove the IXV DP on 6th.
• Insert the maraging wire for Cryo-payload with cables.

Type B (Mark)

Report for week of 2/19

• We did TFs from the IM OSEMs.
• We secured the cables inside the BF, added the cap and anchored the cables from below the BF to the cap.
• We lifted the BF/... section with the load gauge adapter and measured the weight, which was about as expected.
• Based on the measured weight, Fabian prepared an 800 g set of masses for the top of the BF.
• We added the AF crossbars and the section of the SS below the SF and craned in the SF.
• We installed the SF-BF rod and flying saucer and suspended the BF/... section. With the 800 g placed temporarily on the BF, the SF keystone floated at about mid-range.

• Remove LBB temporary ballast masses from BS chamber.

• Route cables up to under SF.
• Check/adjust total mass and balance of BF/... section, especially IM OSEMs.
• Cable and calibrate SF LVDT.
• Add Cu segments to SF cap.
• Install cap.
• Lift SF/... section and check total mass and balance.
