   5 Riccardo: He stays in Scotland and, with Nicholas Lockerbie, optimized the
   6 design of the OSEM
   7 for the intermediate mass and finished it.

   9 had to return to the old LED, we are redesigning the supports)

  11 Nick would like to join KAGRA collaboration. Riccardo prepares the
  12 application.
  13 And they continue the optimization of the OSEM for the test mass.
  14 Riccardo will also try the cryogenic test for the OSEM. Kazuhiro pointed
  15 out that
  16 the Si pin diode does not work at low temperauter but the InGaAs works.
  17 (Riccardo' comment: Nick points out that PIN Si diodes only slow down 
  18 with temperature, due to lower
  19 mobility of the front electro implanted ions, and may be still OK at 20 K,   he will
  20 test)
  21 Riccardo visited Glasgow University. Now, they have a plan to
  22 study the silicon breaking point.
  23 Ryutaro asked whether Riccardo has the design of the circuit of the shadow
  24 sensor.
  25 Nick sent the design of the drive for the LED. The design for the readout
  26 is the same as
  27 that of LIGO.

  30 He will arrive at Japan on the 29th of the Spetember and leave on the 14th
  31 of the October.
  32 On the 17th and 18th of the September, he will visit IMPEX and Moltech.

  34 send the list of questions before his visit and discuss it with Ettore.

  36 Takanori: In order to attend the ELiTES thermal noise workshop, he stayed
  37 at Jena
  38 in Germany. While he stayed in Germany, the driver for the LVDT actutor
  39 was delivered.
  40 He checked it on this Monday. The power supply and (D-sub) connectors are
  41 necessary.

  43 Ettore: Did somebody test the amplifier of the Geophone ? Although Ryutaro
  44 received it,
  45 he did not check yet. Riccardo suggested that it is better to check before
